I'm not seeing where people are saying that this game looks worse than both the PS3&360 versions. Even for the game still in development it runs really smooth. The more I see the controls in action and the level of gameplay this will add, the more it seems that this whole second screen set-up will be another game changer this gen.

I'm aware of that. I'm tired of clear fabrication of the truth. How anyone thinks this looks at all worse than the original versions (based on screenshots and E3 video footage) is beyond me.

yep, it's like the old ps3/360 screenshot comparisons, you'd really have to look to find something that looked better in either one, and if there was one, it was typically so minimal that it didn't matter at all, but in the comments section you'd always see comments like, yep, oh yah, that definitely looks better, glad i have this console and so forth

i honestly cant tell if this looks better or worse, and it doesn't matter because i beat arkham city on a ps3 and i can tell that the difference is so small that it doesn't matter at all, and personally, of course i would go with the wii u version with all of those new features.

Don't see how this game looks worse then the ps360 version. the only bad thing is the textures and that's because the game is still under development other than that everything looks fine.

But what part of unfinished or in development do you not seem to understand? I mean how simple does it need to be said for people to get that most of this stuff is probably just place holders for what will be in the final game. People should understand that you can't paint and decorate a house before it's built, so why would one expect that games currently in development will already have the final details in them...

Its a nice launch title but it shouldn't cost 60 bucks since the same game could be picked up on PS3/360/PC for about 30-40 bucks

Wow, you read my mind. Finally, someone who has spoke the truth. Everyone can sit here and make excuses but what you said speaks the truth. 2005 tech vs. 2012. It should outperform it with no questions asked period.

This console is supposed to be easy to develop for and it doesn't have the "alien tech" like PS3 so there should be no problems. Yes, this is a port but it should at least look as good at whats out now. I'm not saying graphics are everything because there not but this is 2012. Oh well, we'll see....At this point it's a wait and see approach for me.

It does look as good and unlike the 360/PS3 version it is also displaying on a 2nd scrren as well.

Concentrating on that rumor makes it easier for certain devout fans to pretend like next-gen games should perform identically to last gen, when they supposedly have "1.5x the power" and could at LEAST get anti-aliasing without even a wink (if said statement be true).

People just need to give it up. The Wii U is showing serious signs of being about the same strength as ps3/360. Stop pretending like some launch ps3/360 games that ran at 6XXp mean that the Wii U is just having a "rough start" as well, because the difference between ps2 and ps3 (for example) still went from 480i/p to 6XXp/720p and had nicer textures. Going from the 7th gen standard to the....well, 7th gen standard, does not compare.

And if you're a big enough Nintendo console fan to get defensive....why would you care? The Wii was almost the same way.

I'm glad you could conclude all of that from a port of a PS3... I will guarantee that the launch titles for the other next gen systems that are ports for 360... Will looks like ports... You know why? Cause they are ports... It's shameful when the knowledge of the gaming community has deteriorated to such a point where gamer don't even understand how porting or the power of a console works....

@Yabhero: I totally agree! People have no clue how porting works. Just because a system maybe easy to develop for or port to doesn't mean that a developer doesn't have to do work when porting a game. It takes effort in getting all of the artwork up and running, while trying to optimize the game and environment to the fullest for the respective hardware that it's running on. Its probably because we are in the generation of copy/paste that people have this simple view of porting. They think that's all you must have to do in order to have multiplat games.

I don't see why people are getting defensive and saying that it looks bad because it's a port... it is a port, but the game is also on PC and looks nicer than the console verisons... surely with all the power the Wii U has, it should sit somewhere between the two, not be on par/slightly better, especially since it's apparently so easy to port the games?

Please Pirate, people don't like to use common sense. This is not a PC, it is a console with off the shelf PC parts. There is a big difference. Remember Xbox and PS2 games. Most of those were ports from the PS2. Which one of those looked better? Just putting the truth out there. I owned both and I know the answer to that one. I have enough sense to know that the Xbox was more powerful....Oh boy, hope I didn't upset anybody...haha

bicker all you want pc version is and will be the best because of physx see a comparison on youtube especialy on raz al ghul and penguin sessions so pm when the wii u gets arkham city in 1080p 8x msaa 16x anisotropic tessalation physx and i can keep on going with catwoman mods etc.
the video above is a mess because is under development you can see how unoptimized it runs textures low lighting low draw distance low motion blur ultra high ;-p!!!!

Multiplats should look the same or better on the Wii U than the two other consoles. IF there IS a bad-looking Wii U port than it's a lazy developer who did the job.

If you want the best graphics possible then just buy the PC version
