“PS Vita Has No Games,” Except This List of Over 70 of Them

GamerXChange: It’s not often that I do this, direct an article to the fanboys, trolls, and haters. But the Miami Heat won last night (Partying for the rest of the month here in Miami) and I’m feeling a little confident. So why not?! Today, I’m directing this article to those “gamers” out there who paint a picture of doom and gloom for Sony’s new handheld, the PlayStation Vita.

I am a PS vita lover, n i love racing games but the racing game genre sucks until N4S comes out. they have like one to two tiles per genre to choose from and some genres are missing like survival horror etc. it's still only the launch tho. and GravityRush is better than most console games. but i found it hard deciding where to spend my $40 bucks at. if it wasn't for Gravity Rush i wouldn't have bought anymore games until Ragnarok or Persona4G. so the vita "has games" but not too much of a selection for the hardcore gamer, YET.

I have 8 vita games and have only had the thing for a few months... and there are already about 3 or 4 more Im interested in getting this year, so I say it has plenty of games.
And honestly people keep calling them ports and remakes are whatever, but Uncharted was a new game and a new experience on the Vita, and Dont all handhelds come out with similar games to there console counterparts.
It's not like nintendo wont put Mario games on the 3ds, oh wait there are tons of them already.

Its what they do, they kind of figure these our are killer games will put them on everything..

I want Infamous Vita game, and God of war Vita game as well. I still look forward to more games like escape plan, and gravity rush being new IP's and utilizing the tech.

so far i have about 5-6 vita games, 1 psp game, and 2 digital games from store. there's more games i could get but i do have other responsibilities so i cant go spend crazy on games lol.

Well... 3Ds started with a lot of ports/remasters too.
Ocarina of Time, Star Fox, Metal Gear Solid 3, Super Street Fighter 4... Regardless... who cares? Good games are good games regardless. I don't own a Vita yet, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't really want one.

This is the situation that plagued the PS3 early on. "PS3 got no games" was all you'd hear, but eventually that died down when must have games that could only be found on the PS3 finally hit store shelves. Same will happen for the Vita eventually.

So out of the 70+ games I only see 3 games that I would want two of which I can get on the PS3 (which I already have) so that leaves only one. One game doesn't justify a purchase of handheld imo. The Vita just needs must have games that can only be found on the Vita.

For example PSA Battle Royale looks like it'll be a good game, but what incentive do I have to buy a Vita to play the game when I already have PS3 and can just buy it for that?

current games i have and i love:
- ModNation Racers Road Trip ( yes even without head to head online multiplayer i think its a good game)

- Resistance Burning Skies ( i dont know what were smoking the so called professionals when they reviewed this game but its my favorite psvita game thus far, waiting impatiently for the next online patch )

- Escape Plan ( awesome puzzle game which takes advantage of vita's new ways to play games)

- Gravity Rush ( man this is my favorite new portable IP from sony, this game is great )

- Wipeout 2048 ( this is how cross platform play is done right, you can play Wipeout HD and Wipeout Fury single campaigns and cross platform play against ps3 players) im having tons of fun playing online.

- Unit13 ( very good co op shooter )

- Motorstorm RC ( its fun but its nowhere near an adrenaline kicker motorstorm game, i still like it though )

- Uncharted Golden Abyss ( very, very good action/adventure game )

and this is something i have to say, i'm extremely impressed by LBP vita beta, its really, really good.

...and a Vita title I'm kind of ashamed to type here, but I love it anyway (haha).

I've already played and enjoyed Uncharted and Katamari.

Yes I realize that some of these titles are PSP games but that is also part of what the Vita is so I include it.

I'm playing Gungnir as well, but that will be on my Vita as soon as I can make the transfer.

Some might feel that the Vita is useless but I'm fully engaged with it and as you can see have no intention to put it down.

I only wish the PS3 had so much to do 4-5 months into it's life!

P.S. Outside of the PSP games, the Vita does gently but profoundly have you playing and gaming in a way I've never done before. The integration of touch, motion and graphics is fantastic --- Gravity Rush is a MUST.

You see people are stupid. They say 'the VITA has no games,. But what they mean to say is 'the VITA has no games I want to play personally' When I had a DS I let it get dusty and covered in grime. In fact I don't even know where it is presently. Why? Because there was nothing interesting for me to play on it in my opinion. Does that mean the DS has no games? No.

The VITA has so many games coming for it including it's own versions of Assassins Creed,Silent Hill and COD plus original games AND sequels plus ports and crossplay. What makes it worse that the 3DS does the exact same thing blatantly passing off ports and sequels that are barely any different then the console versions and people don't hound it as much as they do the VITA. They make UC GA and people tear into it like paper.

They make ANOTHER DAMN side story of KH instead of KH3 for the 3DS and ANOTHER MARIO KART that just adds gliders and propellers people greet it with smiles and accolades.So could we please skip the 'VITA has no games chant'. We heard it all with the PS3. And let's not for get 'TEH 3DS had no gamez' once too.

It's too expensive and the battery life sucks too.

Where these lies come from I don't know.

For the size of the screen and how much processing it does; the battery life is in a class of its own. It's first class all the way.

For what the device does, and how well it does it; the price is unbelievable.

Yea i Know the vita has games...but for the regular consumer. (who don't think and just buys) all they see is whats on sale at the momnet...they probably dont know that u can play psp games and psone on them....because sony doesn't advertise enough.
