Okami HD Confirmed for PS3

I remember when they first came out, playing Okami and finishing it, and then playing Twilight Princess shortly after and thinking "wow, I actually think a game is better than a Zelda game".

If you haven't played it yet, you absolutely have to now.

Twilight Princess might've won Game of the Year, but I honestly think Okami should've gotten it over Zelda.

I was reading about this last night. When I first read that it was confirmed, the first thing I did was clench both of my fists and exclaimed, "YES!" very nearly at the top of my lungs. I've loved the PS2 version since it came out on day one, it's one of my all time favourite games. Actually, when I saw Sony debut the Move, Okami was one of the first things I thought would be perfect for it as well, haha.

1080p, Move support, and it's priced at 20 dollars. I adored the game on PS2, and I'm more than happy to give Capcom 20 dollars of my money. For me, this is only the second thing Capcom have done right this generation, the other being Dragon's Dogma. I can't wait to play Okami in 1080p with my Move! :)

Camera control in the Wii version is awfull due to the lack of second analog stick to control the camera. Controlling camera rotation from a D-pad was frustrating.

The PS3 version is both controller and move supported, they could make a 360 version that is only controller compatible. I detest motion controls as a whole so I have no plans on picking up Steel Battalion.

Don't worry I'm not a MS fanboy, I just don't see the point in buying multiple systems because literally every game series I play outside of Halo is multiconsole. There are still so many games on PS360 that I need to play and more are always coming out, yes I'll miss games like Okami HD but then the very next day something like Sonic Adventure 2 HD gets announced. I actually think PS3>360 in terms of available games but I already own my system and I've made a lot of friends through it, I have no plans to jump ship now.

Well Rockman, I bought a 360 to be able to play the games that I wanted to that weren't on the PS3. I guess if you want to play a game that's not on your console of choice, you either get the console the game is coming out for, or keep hoping for that port.

Good for you man, having both consoles is definitely better than relying on only one. I only buy a few games a year anyway and how I've found other forms of entertainment to keep me busy like tv shows and music, I think that's a major reason why I don't see the need for two systems. I still have like 5 games that I'm trying to beat and many more I want to beat, I just can't warrant buying a second console with that kind of backlog.

I can remember picking this up on PS2 from blockbuster when I was roughly 15, was a bit skeptical at first but a few hours into the game I was hooked completely!

The art style and gameplay are top notch, will definitely be picking this up when it's released :)

dam this is what ive been hoping for . i am proud to say that when this game launched i was there first day to buy it . gave the 50 bucks or so to get okami and MY GOD what a beautiful experience it was . It took me like 72 hrs to beat but what a wonderful 72 hrs that was . To this day it remains one if not the best gaming experiences ive ever had . Im happy that this game will find new life on current consoles and again i will be there the moment it is released to purchase this masterpiece once more .
