It seems like the Big 3 publishers are picking sides in the console war.

MS has Activision on their side
Sony has EA on their side
Nintendo seems to have Ubisoft on their side

Things are really getting interesting. I'm really shocked by how much Ubisoft is backing Nintendo with the Wii U, but consoles need to survive, because they bring these developers the most income

TrendyGamers4336d ago

Ubisoft backed the Wii at launch quite a bit as well, they had about 6 or 7 titles.

DwightOwen4336d ago

@ABizzel1

Both Activision and EA supported the Wii and will continue that trend for the Wii U.

ABizzel14336d ago (Edited 4336d ago )

Activision supports MS much more than they do PS3 and Nintendo as far as their biggest franchises are concerned (COD is ALWAYS best on 360, and get timed exclusive DLC months in advance).

EA supports Sony much more than they do 360 and Nintendo as far as their biggest franchises are concerned (Battlefield is to the PS3 what COD is to the 360). (Where was Overstrike from Insomniac EA?????)

And now Ubisoft is supporting the Wii U with exclusives (there was a large list of games shown that are in development for Wii U), Wii U console exclusives (Ghost Recon Online), and improved versions of franchises made for the Wii U (Rayman Origins).

All 3 support every platform, but each of them seems to have picked a favorites, and support that console a bit more than they do the others.

I'm not surprised. Japan and France are pretty tight.

They didn't bomb their country like US did.

I assume you never heard of Pearl Harbor? Oh I forgot, revisionist history, the holocaust is just a story to tell kids to scare them too. Good job graduate.

dark-hollow4336d ago

Lol Nintendo is already destroying Microsoft E3 and their press isnt here yet!

NellyNel_7_1_34336d ago

Agreed! Also here is agree to add to #4 to make to it # 5...

DwightOwen4336d ago

Halo 4 is honestly the ONLY reason I still have my 360. After watching that gameplay trailer, I'm on the fence. I need to see more. The graphics did look nice, though.

It is pretty sad when you have to pay devs and celebrities to promote their multiplat titles as if they were 360 exclusives...

StanSmith4336d ago (Edited 4336d ago )

Agreed except the only reason i'm keeping my 360 is for gears.

Microsoft seem to have forgotten that the Xbox 360 is a games console. Those new ips they shown looked like ass too.

Next gen, MS will need to prove their worth now. Halo, Gears and Forza with exclusive dlc does not cut it anymore.

neutralgamer194336d ago

Lol thrs not a big feat considering micros abysnal shwing lol

kesvalk4336d ago

ZombiU?

i just watched a episode of angry video game nerd...
and this title fits perfectly with a garbage, custerfuck of gimmicks shovelware game that you rather die while suffocating in bird shit and having your ass ravaged by a giant drill with razors than play...

yeah, i am watching too much AVGN...

PopRocks3594336d ago

There was no gameplay in the ZombiU trailer...

kesvalk4336d ago

i am talking about title, not the game...

or do you guys like the title? really? ZombiU!?

EcoSos34336d ago

Freaks from out of space became ZombiU...I hope I heard wrong I really wanted that game.

legend9114336d ago

Killer Freaks is going to be on the Nintendo conference it seems. This is awesome no? :D

StanSmith4336d ago

Nope. Killer Freaks became Zombie U during development.

Still, this could be a great FPS if done correctly.

mike1up4336d ago

@StanSmith

ZombiU is more survival horror than fps.... I hope.

legend9114336d ago

Well thank you for the correction, this is better... the name is a bit odd. But I wouldn't worry if the game is good. So let's just keep an eye on this.

vickers5004336d ago

Watch dogs looked pretty damned good. Hopefully the majority of the game makes use of those hacking tactics to kill, rather than the majority of the game being just a third person shooter.

Games with the dumbest NPCs

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

Flawlessmic258d ago

How did redfall not make the cut.

Every Bethesda game and Every Halo game. This list needed to have Cyberpunk somewhere.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK264d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

Rimeskeem264d ago

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder264d ago (Edited 264d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

raiden_188264d ago

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

RPGer263d ago

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

Popsicle538d ago (Edited 538d ago )

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
