Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been outed via a G4 E3 2012 montage video, confirming Square Enix’s title is still alive.

Some of us are more excited to see The Last of Us and (hopefully) The Last Guardian. I'll pass on the JRPG filled with emo guys that look like girls and I've had quite enough of the melodramatic writing that's barely on par with your average soap opera.

Are you on crack!? This game looks amazing, open world, flyable airships, dark and mature story, possibly being the first M rated FF game. I'm betting on this being the saving grace of the FF series. It sure as hell looks like a masterpiece and we've only seen very few bits of the game.

The characters are well developed and have emotion behind their social interactions and they way they think. Most of them have suffered throughout their life and thats why they are closed off

really though there are plenty of ways around the storage issue like we have seen in FF7, FF8, and FF9 (lot's of cgi have always made a big portion of FF games, making a open world actually could fit on any platform).

Just saying. SE didn't include the open world in 13 because they didn't want to, not because they couldn't from storage issue's.

Other then that common myth, I agree that FF should include airships and full exploration once again, for that to happen they need to stop slacking... vs long wait means they could be doing just that.

I don't care if it's coming out for everything. As long as it has a release in sight.. So I can actually play the game, that is the only thing I really care about.

To be honest.. I'd like for SE to stop jumping all over the console market. They make games just for the 360, then just for the PS3, then just for the Wii, the NDS, the PSP. They are jumping all over the place, no wounder they are have difficulties this generation, a SE fan has a hard time playing all there games. If they don't know where their game are going to sell, then they should just go multiplatform.

remember SO4 was in development as a PS3 exclusive for a long time before it became a 360 exclusive under SE's direction.. Imagine FFvs13 being announced as a 360 or Wii U exclusive suddenly?
