both proposed console vr headsets. I wouldnt mind seeing one for ps3 or 360. Especially if they were to incorporate the eye or kinect to really make it seem like you are interacting in the game.

Are we at a point to where home VR could make a resurgence?

no one really cares..... after Rage. I don't think I would even call him a developer anymore...

showtimefolks4347d ago

oops don't say that ID has very loyal fanboys lol.

This guy talked so much before rage only to deliver well a generic fps

hopefully his next time will be better but i have my doubts

Moncole4347d ago

If Rage was a PC game first it would have been much better.

I loved Rage, only thing it was missing is FPS multi player, but the AI was sick, graphics were sick, & Singler Player DLC would have been great too and I generally hate the idea of DLC due to its inherant abuse by the Industry. But one of my favorite FPS's this GEN by far, just wish you could interact more with the beautiful landscape & enviroments(like climb up on or jump up on those Mountains etc) . I think thats where the ID Tech fails mostly. But its a beautiful game engine for sure, love it. The shooter mechanics were SPOT ON, just ridiculously sick man, lol, could shoot throught the tinyiest of holes & shoot someone right in the "EYE or KNEE, etc" if you had the skill. Definately NOT for the COD crowd, lol, but who cares, kick rocks you punks!!, lol. ========= ps- The Doom3 Compilation this Fall is gonna destroy all!!, (Cant Wait! lol)

That's harsh, plenty of Devs make dud games and to be honest I quite liked Rage, as a budget shooter.

As for the tech, tried something similar at the Gadget Show live in the UK. Resolution was very poor and the experience wasn't any thing to write home about. Still a long way off yet.
