Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Coming to PSN This Fall

Playstation Blog writes; The good people of Insomniac Games are preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ratchet & Clank, which is coming up later this year.
But we’ve also heard a lot of community requests to develop a new Ratchet & Clank game, one that returns to the classic third-person Ratchet & Clank camera. We listened to your requests, and this holiday season Insomniac will release our new Ratchet & Clank game as part of our 10th Anniversary Celebration.

Great news but I"m kinda disappointed because this is another side game. I wanted a true sequel to the series.

More Ratchet and Clank is always good in my book. I love the series, I even liked All 4 One (although it admittedly wasn't the best in the franchise).

Side Note:

Full Frontal Assault will be released as a PSN download in North America but Europe will have a retail release of the game.

In Europe, the game will be called: Ratchet & Clank: QForce.

Love how this game gets a glorious 10th year anniversary, while SOCOM pretty much gets taken out back and put down.

SOCOM> R&C any day. SOCOM was the PS2's online/ main franchise.

Disagree all you want...but you didn't see Tiger Woods, Kevin Garnet, Wu Tang Clan, and a bunch of other celebs playing Ratchet....they were playing SOCOM 2 baby. Sony needs to get its priorities straight.

My point exactly....no one knew each other in the online Ratchet games. The SOCOM community knew everyone and took pride in who played it.

So your complaining that Insomniac is celebrating the 10th anniversary of a successful IP (that isn't owned by Sony I might add) because Sony won't do the same thing for a IP they own.

Well I hope it is longer then Quest for Booty. I liked it but it was way too short for my tastes. But the online features should at least up the replay value
