lol...........

how many of these animations with the graphics/physics/enemy ai/sound running in real time, can they fit into the game without massive slowdown AKA MASS EFFECT? how can they fit this on a dvd9?

all this is, is a wireframe prerendered techdemo..its not in real time, theres no backgrounds, no lighting no music, no other enemies. its just a prerendered demo ....AND this is the exclusive xfans rage about? another fps, whooopdifuccin do.

after watching the other video, it seems like theyre adding some fluid animations BUT THEY ONLY HAVE ONE ENEMY ONSCREEN AT A TIME. SO I GUESS THEY ADD SOME QUALITIES BUT TAKE AWAY FROM OTHERS BECAUSE OF DVD9 and the almighty 360 cpu.LOL
im not surprised.

lol..........once again the allmigty 360 falls short to the capabilities of the 1 year old ps3. take a look at uncharted and be really amazed at animations and a.i.

am i lying? NO!! will i get disagrees? yes

hate all you want...........its all good people.

relax dude your gonna blow a gasket. Its just a game. Uncharted AI is great? thats why you can aim at a guy and he will keep popping his head out while you put a bullet in his eye four times till he dies. I dont know about you but I might try peaking out from the other side of the tree.

Thats Funny, Since most of Ps3s Great games Comming out are Shooters Too.

You don't agree?
Well, Do you think Jan Templar uses a magic glowing stick to Eradicate those hellgast?

How about Haze.....Do they just get high on some horsesteroids and hit people with a plank with a nail?

How about UT3......I suppose Epic wanted to Revolutionaize gaming by making the 1st game that uses sticks and stones as main weapons....

and I guess Ratchet and Drake both use shalaylees to beat their opponents to Death....

I belive that argument about 360 having only FPS, Adventure Shooters
and (to a lesser Extent TPS) done.......
Its like saying Ps3 has no games comming out.....
friggin stupid.

its ok to disagree and i disagree but its all good.

i am relaxed. duuuuuuuuuude.

only time i get tense is when im in traffic for 2 hours.

u can take that to the bank 2. duuuuuuude

played it on hard yet? or are we playing on normal?

PS3n3605978d ago

I will try it on hard tonight. I am not dissing Drakes cause After about 15 minutes I was hooked. I actually could feel myself getting pulled in. The reason for that is the very good control scheme very intuitive.

Warhound on ice

Swiss gaming magazine GBase asked Techland what happened to the military shooter Warhound which was announced a few years ago. They've learned that the project is on ice right now but maybe in the future Techland will continue to work on it.

I'm with you Shifty. I've been waiting for Dead Island, Chrome 2 and Warhound for literally years. I enjoyed/was happy to support Juarez Bound in Blood and I remember reading an article that it sold pretty well overall yet Techland still hasn't said or done anything since.

Why would they work on any other game? Dead Island and Warhound are both promising new shooters that have the potential to have sequels. Chrome 2 is already a sequel to an established series, (Chrome was solid for its time, SpecForce was excellent) so if they iced Warhound and Dead Island it better for that. Anything else would be a MISTAKE.

Techland working on stuff, keeping quiet for now

TVGB: "There's been quite a bit of chit, and chat, around the water cooler in the last week or so about Techland's future offerings now that Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood has been tagged and released. Dead Island, the game that mixes palm trees, crystal clear waters and zombies, was the first to get inquired about. Thankfully that one is still being worked on, and has even found a publisher. But there's been no word on their other two titles that were announced many years ago but haven't been talked about in quite a while - Warhound, an open-ended first-person shooter, and Chrome 2, the sequel to 2003's sci-fi shooter. We got in touch with Techland to see what was up with these titles and walked away with both good and not so good news."

I'm quite impressed by techland and their chrome engine. COJ:BiB is a really good looking game at times and I can't wait to see what dead-island and hopefully warhound look like.

Warhound Being Reevaluated, not Officially Canceled

In 19 days, it'll be two years since Joystiq last heard anything about Call of Juarez developer Techland's "open ended FPS," Warhound. So, when they heard last week that the developer was still working on its zombie-infused Dead Island, they shot Techland an email and asked about the game once intended to rival Crysis' graphics.

green5400d ago

I hope they don't cancel it because it looked really promising.

N4PS3G5400d ago

Good to know that Dead Island and this are still kicking

TheColbertinator5400d ago

Looks like vaporware to me(Warhound). It might as well be in the same page as Duke Nukem Forever or Wardevil.

Dead Island is a good concept and they really need to avoid screwing that up

socomnick5400d ago

God I hope not, after playing and loving both Call of juarez games, I really want them to succeed and for these games to come out. They develop some pretty impressive tech and the games have personality something missing on other big name shooters like haze or killzone 2.

free2game3655400d ago

a multiplat game could never rival Crysis visually
