GTA V Rumours Suggest Possible Returning Characters

GTA V rumours are nothing new to the gaming scene. We get new ones every week (most are fake)… however, this one just caught my attention for a split second.

A third party Grand Theft Auto blog has shed light on a number of supposedly real, but unannounced, characters and story plots.

Do you want GTA 3 and GTA San Andreas characters in the same game?

Snookies124348d ago

Honestly, as much as I liked the characters for GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, and would like to see them return... I could care less about whether they're in it or not so long as the game is just as fun as San Andreas when it came out. That game glued me to the TV for well over 10 hours my first time turning it on.

All I care about is San Andreas Gameplay!!!

San Andreas is so dam good.

Spent hours just in the casino's alone!!!

I think R* is definitely get it right this time. Don't get me wrong I LOVED GTA IV, but it lacked so much of the customization.

Even from the first trailer, (and I might R* may have eveb had statements confirming this) that they are bringing back the exercising and player customization - as well as for cars and weapons too. It also looked to be including property purchasing, which GTA IV didn't have either.

Oh, and I heard there bringing back some of Side-jobs from San Andreas too - like the burglaries.

I'm okay with the characters as long as it's as good as San Andreas.

GTA4 Was a step backwards. Every GTA sequel starting with GTA3 got bigger added more cars, custoomization, planes etc. especially San andreas. Then came GTA4 back in liberity cuty which is the smallest city instead of a new location. No customization then they took all the fun out for a realistic approach. I'm not buying GTA5 and believe when I say millions of other gamers aren't in a rush to buy it either.

enigmaticheretic4348d ago

I agree with GTA 4 being a step backwards but the thing I don't agree with is that millions will still buy it me included. Some franchises has that fan base that no matter what people will still buy it (i.e COD,halo,Madden,Mario,Zelda)th e game could be half-assed and it will still sell well.

i thought san andreas was a step backwards from vice city. i really enjoyed that one and havent really cared for them since then. just didnt seem to have the fun i had in that one. i will buy the next one from the bargain bin i think, they have really run their course IMO.

by now i want a living city but they seem to be getting worse at it the more they shoehorn into the game. turning around to go get a car that just passed me, 9/10 times it vanishes.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing6917h ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Profchaos15h ago

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Demetrius4h ago

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy8514h ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all

Ex-Rockstar Dev Finally Explains Why Small Planes Randomly Crashed in GTA San Andreas

Former Rockstar Games Technical Director Obbe Vermeij has finally revealed why some planes would randomly crash in GTA: San Andreas.

Profchaos18d ago

This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.

And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened

isarai18d ago (Edited 18d ago )

It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games

Skuletor16d ago

Lol, I remember those. I vaguely remember dying from one crashing into my car once too.
