I agree with this article. A gamer is a gamer, I treat them all the same (Which generally is like crap) I have played games with males and females, and its still the same game, I am not so desperate that I want to try to sweet talk some random girl in a random online game.

Really, it's kind of sad to see it happen, and I have cussed out people for doing that... it detracts from the game, and that's not why we are playing the game. We play it for fun not to find girls, you want that? Go outside or something!

Though I agree that girls who go online looking for attention piss me off more then the idiots fawning over her.

No one's saying that gamer girls can't be sexy. Just like gamer guys don't have to be 30 years old ugly fat man, living in their mother's basements, desperate to get some ass.

I'll still never understand why most of the female gamers I've come across put "girl", "lady" or "woman" in their name (Killergirl24513). It seems every time I ask as well, I get slammed for it.

Most female gamers are just gamers. The tags and labels are unnecessary.

I hate to say it but it DOES matter. Especially when they're still on the outside looking in to an industry dominated and controlled by White males. And many of them are bigoted.
