Nathan Braudrick of Bagogames: I’ll be the first one to disparage the oversaturation of a property. The yearly releases of certain titles tend to, in my opinion, water down what can originally be an engaging experience. I’m not the only one that feels this way either. For a more in-depth look at this trend you should check out the fantastic editorial written by our very own Lindsay Belle Chambers. There are, however, certain titles that I would love to see more of.
Rockstar Games’ shiny new Red Dead Redemption port is now on GTA+, and you can play it while claiming some tasty GTA Online benefits.
Rockstar still strying to make GTA plus work
Should be $6 for the rdr game on sale not 6 bucks for a months playtime
One of my favorite games from PS3 generation. I have the remaster as there was a buy 2 get 1 free deal a while back but the price they are charging for the port is way too high although not surprising at all.
Improvements have been made to the stability of the game
I still think this release was a big waste of time. I would have been a day 1 purchaser if they had redone the game w RDR2 graphics. I still own my PS3 copy, so don't see the point in picking this up if it's minimally improved.
They should have released the game in its current state not the state it launched in. Obvious we all wanted this to be a expansion to rdr 2 given that the original map was already remade in the game lots of people though this was just going to be added in later as paid DLC.
Now the game runs at 4k 60 fps on ps5 and can be brought on sale it's actually worth playing.
At launch the game was priced far to high and was a ps360 era game that couldn't run at 60 fps.
I'm in no way a frame rate snob I defended games like tears of the kingdom in the past for being 30 fps experiences but rdr was a joke at launch
Bully: Scholarship Edition was an Xbox 360 & Wii re-release of the PS2 classic. Still playable on modern consoles, it'll make you long for a sequel.
A sequel? More likely a remake as is the current trend? No point, everyone wants GTA VI.
If there’s to be a sequel it should be at the college/university level. Otherwise its just going to be a rehash of the same progression and story.
I didn't particularly enjoy Alan Wake. Flashlights and limited ammo to kill dark shadowy enemies was very odd to me. Not to mention finding a written script, which followed your actions verbatim, along the way. It felt too gimmicky. Maybe a second game could be better but I have my doubts.
Personally, I really enjoyed Alan wake. The odd creepy setting was something straight out of a stephen king book. Something you would imagine in your mind and come up with totally creatively. The limited bullets is what provided suspence and gave the creatures a real threat and the feeling of Alan going into limbo and having to save his wife created a great story in mind. Not to mention the old lady as the villain was totally badass and your best friend was hilarious. So a sequel would be much loved.
I wouldn't mine seeing an Alan Wake sequel. I do believe that Remedy has already said they are working on one.
I'd give a little piece of my liver for a Mirror's Edge sequel.
