MasonicGamer.com - What can I say about Minecraft that hasn’t been said already? In the few years since the alpha builds began making the headlines, we’ve seen all manner of stories, articles, and videos about crazy creations built by the ever-growing legion of fans. For a game that’s so basic in its concept and so simple in its design, Minecraft has kept the attention of gamers for many times longer than even the biggest of blockbusters. Now, finally, the phenomenon has arrived on Xbox 360, and console owners the world over can see what the fuss is all about.
So what is the fuss all about? Its probably about the fact that Minecraft is not a “game” in the traditional sense of the word. A game has rules, objectives, and a way to win. You’ll find none of these while exploring the blocky landscapes and building your ultimate dream-homes, as the world of Minecraft goes on for as long as your imagination can cope. No missions, objectives, quests, tasks, or boss fights will you encounter, just an unending landscape to shape and mold with the tools you make.
YouTuber Potomy has revealed new details about the new Bloodborne mod and that it is now in a playable state for Minecraft.
Given the medium's wild diversity, this primer of the essential video games everyone should try is a good place to start.
I can't fk with this list. They missed on alot of games probably before the writers times. Also I know people loved some portal but I was never a fan.
Tomb Raider 1
Driver 1
Abe’s Odyssey
FF6
King of Fighters 94
Mortal Kombat OG
LINK 2 the past
Street Fighter 2
Resident Evil 1
Infinite but not the first two games? Witcher 3 but not the first two games?? GTA V but not literally any of the games before it??? Portal 2 but not the first? Also if you're going to play Shadow of The Colossus play the remaster and not the remake. Can't say I disagree with the list but my man it's all over the place.
Awesome list! Hot take on Fear (and it's hard af expansion Persaus Mandate!) Bioshock Infinite is stellar, so is the Witcher 3 and you nailed it by having Ocarina of Time. So many fantastic games! Gotta play 'em all! Next one on my list is Prey after I beat Dead Space 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction.
Minecraft Bedrock is introducing add-ons to the marketplace. The add-ons can now be added to many existing and new worlds.
Nice! Next up, shaders on consoles.
“A new update is improving how mods work for Minecraft Bedrock. Mojang has introduced add-ons to the marketplace.”
“These add-ons can now easily be added to new and existing worlds instead of being tied to a single world.
There are plenty of free and paid add-ons that will let you customize just about anything in your world.”
So RayTracing is no longer locked to the NVIDIA maps? I know there was a workaround, but it will be nice to have easier access to all worlds.
Still haven't played any version of this game.
Neither have I & im glad. The Dev is laughing his ass off all the way to the bank with the amount of money he's made out of this pointless project. It's the Tamagotche of 2012 it'll soon fade away never to be heard of ever again.
I don't think the game is bad im an avid PC gamer but truthly ive never gotten round to playing it. It just never looked like a game that interested me.
I must admit that I hadn't played the game in sometime until wednesday when it came out on XBLA, now it as me hooked again.
Really hope that XBLA version gets the updates along side the PC version
A game has to have a defining goal to accomplish. By simple definition if there is no goal then its not a game. Thats why I can safely say without having to play it, that as a 'game' it's rubbish.
Things like this have been easily available & as easy to use for decades on the PC.
