so it only goes to the people who were randomly selected and did nothing to deserve it other than sign up like everyone else? just another FU from blizzard.

if i wasn't getting this game for free, there's no way i'd get it (and i'll still play through max payne before i spend the 30 minutes on diablo i plan to invest). first they remake starcraft, then they give us ninja pandas, now we get a diablo 2 remake...sorry blizzard, i'm out. activision are really showing through now.

I only agree with your first sentence. They deserve nothing. On the other hand, I like what they did with Starcraft, it needed an update for sure since it started esports in general. Diablo III will be fine.

NeoTribe4366d ago

Starcraft 2 was good. I wish diablo 3 was a diablo 2 remake. Not sure about ninja pandas, sounds pretty gay though. But yeah giving them this bonus is kinda bull on there part.

Torkith4366d ago

Its just an achievement worth 0 points. If there's a title along with it yes that sucks. Other than that... Come on its a useles little addition to your account.

I thought SC2 was a bit lame too. I gave up on WoW forever ago. And after playing D3 beta I am not really looking forward to it like I thought I would. I am still gonna get it but not slobbering over it like I was. The beta kinda left me underwhelmed. You can certainly tell it has been dumbed down for consoles.

mep694366d ago

Do you really care that much ??? Sad, there are worse things in life to worry about. Unjust wars to claim oil for example. Grow up, it's a fucking game.

mep694365d ago

Disagree all you like, you're pathetic.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

thorstein83d ago

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

shinoff218383d ago

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera392d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33391d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.

Diablo III Season 28 Brings a New Use for the Staff of Herding

Diablo III: Season 28 brings with it the Altar of Rites, an altar full of unlockable bonuses and potions that will require the gathering of tons of resources. One of things needed is the Staff of Herding, which also unlocks the famous Cow Level known as Whimsyshire. Here's how to craft that staff, for those that either have forgotten, or have never completed it.
