Tune of the Week: Kingdom Hearts

What happens when you mix iconic Disney, Final Fantasy, and original characters?

You get this week’s Tune of the Week!

Standing as the most commercially successful Kingdom Hearts game to date, Kingdom Heats is the ninth best selling game on the PlayStation 2.

The original Kingdom Heart’s theme song does not shy away from the success of the games sales. Hikaru Utada’s “Simple and Clean” sold an estimated 1 million copies in Japan back in 2002. In 2008 The Guinness World Records listed the song as the bestselling video game theme song in Japan.

I used to love this song when this game came out. Now, not so much. :(

Simple and Clean techno intro was pretty epic, but the second version at the end of the game was heartbreaking and moving. I have to say nothing could replace the memory that the original game had on peoples hearts and sadly no KH has ever been that powerful. KH2 was great but still not like the original. I really hope KH3 finally releases and delivers an emotional conclusion. The first time I played that game, I was constantly in awe. And Utada is a cutie with a great voice.

I agree the first one had something special about it that really made it stand out from all the rest. The first ones ending was heart breaking. The second one I think was an overall better game, but it didn't give me that emotional attachment the original gave me. I really hope the third one blows us all away.

Remembering Medal Of Honor: The Forgotten Master Of WW2 Games

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."

They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid

I wish they’d remake warfighter

Strictly for the campaign

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.
