Thanks i was a little worried people would hate my list because of all the rpgs but it's my favorite genre so i hoped people wold understand that.

My List.

GB: Zelda
GBA: Pokemon Series
PSP: God of War Series
DS: Advance Wars
Vita: Uncharted

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII should have beed added to PSP and kid Icarus Uprising to 3DS. 7_7

Cennus4378d ago

Uprising is really good but I felt that Revelations does a lot for a 'sinking ship' franchise like Resident Evil. It was a nice breathe of fresh air while Uprising brings back an old character. Don't get me wrong, I like Uprising but I don't believe it does enough like Revelations.

Also, I love Crisis Core but there are so many good PSP games that it would be hard for anyone to pick three and have everyone happy with it.

ZoidsRaven4378d ago

Very true.
There should be a top 10.

But IMO, people should give the 3DS and VITA another year (or two) before making lists like this.

Wipeout 2048 is not on one of the best games for the Vita?

This article fails.

Cennus4378d ago

Multiplayer was really limited. Ad-hoc mode was almost unbearable. Something was off about the racing, too. It just didn't feel as good as HD on the PS3.

I still enjoy me some Wipeout, though.

They forgot ios:

Chaos rings
Infinity Blade
Galaxy on fire

Those would be my 3

Hicken4378d ago

iOS is not on handhelds, therefore none of those games are/should be mentioned. And no matter how much you want them to be, mobile devices are not and cannot compare to dedicated devices(they can hardly compare to the earlier devices listed in the article in terms of gaming capability), so stop trying.

For me, The World Ends with You is the best game I played on DS. That game's better than most console games I've played.

On PSP, Crisis Core is missing. To me, it's the best part of the FFVII sub-series, and really doesn't get the regular recognition it deserves.

My top 3 are Mario 3, Mario World and Mario 64. Mario Odyssey is also excellent, and I enjoyed Sunshine but didn't care for the Galaxy series.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the anti-Breath of the Wild

Polygon: "To get back to the way Ocarina made us feel, it was necessary to reject almost everything about it."

Ocarina of Time changed my life forever, such a masterpiece

Zeldafan64118d ago

Hard to believe it's 25 years old already.

Cacabunga118d ago

The feeling this game gave me the first time i had my hands on it is indescribable.. i still get the chill from that day..
botw is like a spin off of the series.. it’s fun but with many flaws and the most important which is Zelda formula isn’t there..

FinalFantasyFanatic117d ago

I can't even remember how many times I played through OoT, I finished that game, and collected everything so many times.

Vits118d ago

I generally agree with the author here. However, if I had to point out a single game as the 'anti-Breath of the Wild,' that would be Majora's Mask. Pretty much everything in that game is interconnected, relies on something that the player must have done previously, is timed, and can be considered a puzzle in itself.

gold_drake117d ago

but still considered the best of the seties.

i would have liked botw to be more like ocarina.

franwex117d ago (Edited 117d ago )

25 years from today whatever Zelda is out people would too be looking fondly at Breath of the Wild.

Ah the more simple times of the 2020s.

babadivad117d ago (Edited 117d ago )

It isn't...
