MP1st - The first details of the multiplayer component of Sniper Elite V2 have finally been revealed by Rebellion games. Sniper Elite V2 will feature both competitive and co-operative modes on PC. However, Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will only get the co-op modes.
Jason was woefully unprepared for the slower-paced nature of Sniper Elite V2 — originally from the last-gen of consoles and now on practically everything (He played on his Switch). There’s no running and gunning, but there are certainly cool set pieces.
From Rebellion: "We’ve been delighted to see your response to our upcoming release of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. As an independent developer we value your support and try to be as transparent as we can.
For this reason we want to tell you about a small update to the boxed edition of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered in Europe and Australasia. The boxed edition in these territories will now be releasing three days later, on May 17th."
Carlos writes "2017 was a great year for the Xbox Backwards Compatibility program with many of our favourite 360 games made playable on Xbox One. That said, there are still a ton of highly requested games yet to arrive in the program and with 2018 set to see even more added, it makes sense that the first of the years new additions are now being given the treatment. This past week has seen six new games made backwards compatible, but which ones are worth returning to once more?"
"Six new games arrive via Backwards Compatibility"
Does anyone not see the funny side to this statement? I do... lol
I love the Sniper elite series & V2 is a great game & as I still have my 360 copy I'm good to go. Great news & it's free for me too.
Typical...
*sigh* Too bad, I wanted to buy this game for my ps3. I have a pc that can run it great but I think I will give this a miss now. Hopefully down the line they can incorporate it in but if they try to charge for it then I will be back to giving it a miss.
its just not worth it to waste money on console versions at the moment. Shelf life is too short, gamers are all playing the same exact games. They must of been able to get the ps3 and xbox versions up and running without too much effort.
Oh well, you guys still get first party games and japanese love.
sniping with a controller is about as accurate and enjoyable as sniping with a wii mote as far as im concerned,
kb/m is the only way to play a first person shooter
that said i like my controller for third person action and platformers and raing games if i cannot have a racing wheel, which is, of course the best way to drive!
I'm still getting it. It's a fun game.
