Through the second trailer for the game Resident Evil 6 , The Nemesis had appeared in the second 51 , This image was taken to show that the Nemesis is in the Resident Evil 6

Nemesis in RE3 was THE BEST! Just when you thought you were in a quiet hallway...BOOM...."STARS! " Then he would walk slow like Michael Meyers towards you, but appear everywhere. Wesker was nuked in RE5, so there's no way he could be in this game. He was a menace to deal with though. Looks like his son is one of the good guys and reminds me of HUNK. Wesker might have tried to clone his DNA for future testing

Actually, Nemesis RAN towards you all the time. He was just Slow when you heard him growl or when he says Stars, but then he will run (really frickin fast) and start chasing you...or... just shoot you with his rocket launcher.

I think you're right. It has been so long. That was my favorite one though. I pretty much liked them all except for RE:Zero. Billy was the highlight of Zero. This new one looks epic though

It does look like Nemesis, well not "THE" Nemesis, but instead "A" Nemesis... From what I remember is that Nemesis was a special zombie made to kill STARS members, and that he was part of a program code name"Nemesis" so if that's the case, then I can see that somehow, someone(s) in China(setting/plot) had taken the schematics to create another Nemesis, from the Umbrella corporation in Raccoon city(the facility is/was underground and the nuke detonated mid air so there's a 50/50 nothing or something(s) were altered), seeing that the Virus was part of some secretive deep-deep underground economy... Get it? "The" Nemesis was nuked, but "A" Nemesis can be made...

Nemesis was actually a type 3 tyrant in resident evil 3, mr.x was a type 2 tyrant in resident evil 2, and the type 1 tyrant was the final boss in resident evil 1.

Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 is still my most favourite boss in video game till date. Unlike other video game bosses he is the only boss that get to be faught several times from begining to the end of the game on several encouter. Its realy cooooool and makes his a die hard bad ass to me.
If this is true and the pull it off well like the nemesis from Res Evil 3 this could become the best Resident Evil ever for me.
Since Resident Evil 3 i have not enjoyed the series.

I dont think its Nemesis, a couple frames after that scene u can see a soldier that appears to be hung on the ceiling and if you look at the "nemesis" scene you can see how its feet are not touching the floor so, yeah its the same soldier.

We already got Chris, Leon, Sherry, and Ada. Creative thinking, Capcom! Grab a bunch of characters we don't give a shit about all into one game so we have to care!

Next we'll hear about them adding Carlos, Steve, Claire, and Jill as downloadable DLC.

God this series 'has become a mere shadow of it's former self' yeah, I wonder how many people would even understand that reference nowadays. This series has just plummeted. The fans defend this name as if they really care about the characters, the ridiculously bad story and everything else. The characters suck and are one dimensional, the grand storyline is awful and yet people continue to become excited for a new release. Why? What is so interesting and cool about this series nowadays?

I know this post was rushed and will likely receive a ton of dislikes, but I can't pin point what I hate more - this franchise, or the 12 year old A.D.D ridden children who continue to defend and hype this garbage.

I just want to see Capcom do something bold and instead of trying to cling onto boring characters and a story full of holes, they wipe the slate clean and give this franchise a fresh new identity. New characters, new story, new location. Shit, maybe even an attempt to create something that can resemble horror! But no, it's much easier to appease the kids that froth at the mouth at the sheer thought of Chris and Leon sharing screen time.

Well said. Sadly I'm not even holding my breath for Capcom to try anything new for the Resident Evil saga or returning to it's former self. We have a higher chance seeing Activision rebooting Blue Stinger for current consoles (which may not be a bad horror idea if they play their cards right).

If anything I'm hoping for Kamiya and Mikami to team up one more time to create a scary game for Platinum Games....

Well said. Playing through RE 3 at the moment (finished RE and RE2 recently) and they still piss all over the latest RE games. RE4 was good in its own right but then RE5 showed up and brought it down in my opinion. I haven't played the Revelations but it looks quite good.

This is the problem, Capcom are damned if they do and damned if they dont. You want Capcom to wipe the slate clean and try new things? DmC says hi, look how much shit that game has got based on nothing but dantes appearance and he has NEVER been a deep character EVER.

Same goes for resident evil, if you take the characters out then it will be more detrimental to the game then beneficial. Entitled whiners will moan non stop and Capcom just looks like they are out of touch and not listening to the fans.

I completely agree that the RE characters are 1 dimensional but that does not define their iconic status. Mario is iconic, Masterchief is iconic but neither have any dimension to them either, they are iconic because of the games and fond memories they are associated with. If you want to take away all the elements of RE altogether then you may as well make a new franchise.

No matter if you like or dislike RE people are hyped because the RE games are of high quality and production value. RE4 is one of the best games ever made and RE5 although lacking in the scares department still holds up as one of the best and fun co-op action games to date, so why wouldn't people be excited for more?

RE is as big if not bigger than most franchises out there, this series will always have high anticipation plus Capcom are the best at making trailers to excite people.

You could always like...not buy it if it bothers you so much...

Firstly, thank you for your detailed post. I'm glad people have the ability to write more than a raged sentence from a delusional fanboy. I do see your point about the characters. Of course people associate them with the games they're in, and that's fine - but if they remember them mostly for poor voice acting, hilariously bad dialog etc then it seems kind of silly to use it as a base of becoming excited. I guess my point still primarily stands on the fact that the story has always been bad but yet people use it as another reason to become excited.
RE1 had a distinctive B-Movie storyline, the characters were voiced poorly and the script was awful. I just feel that Capcom have taken this ..let's face it...shitty, dense and convoluted storyline from being something we can talk about being 'cheesy' and trying to make it something serious.

As for your RE4 comment, I agree to an extent. I really don't consider it one of the best games ever made. I consider it one of the most influential games ever made. It's shaped the way we think of third person shooters. But by being the first, it's also one of the worst. I'm not saying it's a bad game, I'm just saying games have come and gone that do what RE4 started, and do it better and expand upon the original concept - see Dead Space. Whereas Capcom seem to have changed barely anything over the years (from RE4-RE5 I mean) think about it. The time between RE4 to RE5 was around 5 years AND on a next generation platform, and what do we get? recycled animations, reused sounds, identical gameplay, similar game set pieces, with the only addition being co op. Which, by the way, has been done before and better.
I failed to see why people raved about the RE5 co op. It offered nothing more sophisticated than pushing an item that was conveniently too heavy to push by one person and reaching objects that were JUST too far out of reach. It's bland and dull which is disappointing coming from a 5 year development time and a jump to a next generation system. Let's not forget the shift even further from the survival horror of which it was originally famed for.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Dead Space, to me, is the natural successor to Resident Evil 4. It takes everything that game introduced, and builds upon it and still manages to incorporate some great atmosphere and scares throughout the entire duration of the game, as opposed to RE4 which had great atmosphere for the first 15 minutes, but died out not long after and only scare came from a guy jumping from an oven toward the very end of the game. Please....

As for your last sentence... I've never understood that argument. 'If you don't like it, don't talk about it/buy it' So what you're saying is, you want everyone who talks about a game to be 100% enthused and excited for it. There's not allowed to be some kind of opposing opinion. It's not as if I'm saying 'this game sucks' at least I'm trying to give some kind of reasoning to my argument.

Besides, I wouldn't buy it anyway. At least not day 1. I'm much more likely to wait for the inevitable re-release 6 months later with DLC included.

I like both your points. Somethings I want to comment on.
@ThatEnglishDude you mention poor voice acting, which I would assume your talking about RE1 and 2, maybe 3, but thats debatable. This is coming from a standard from today. What was wrong with it back then? Nothing. Most games had poor voice acting if not all games. So to use that as a negative would be insulting almost every game in that time. RE1-3 are instant classics and birthed the horror genre in games. Lets leave it at that. As for RE4, the fact that games have done it better since then is an obvious fact, but you state it as a negative, first, but the worst, were your words, of course Im paraphrasing. How does that make sense? Name a game that does it better prior to RE4, which there are, that would be a better argument. To state a fact of the obvious evolution of gaming mechanics gets you no points for your argument. I get so sick of ppl using Dead Space as a comparison. So, lets disect it factually. DS1 is actually worse compared to RE4 from a mechanics standpoint. His movements are tighter and the strafing is slower. I will say maybe the movement of the gun when aiming is faster, maybe. Now DS2. All it does is enhance speed for every movement like DS1 should have done. Movement is more fluid, so I would say its better then RE5. But your acting like its lightyears better. Killswitch came out before RE4 and does 3ps mechanics better then all of the titles forementioned. Winback invented the coversystem. Yes, Winback on N64 predates any 3ps with a coversystem, and RE4,5, and Dead Space doesnt have it. There are plenty of 3ps' with better controls REORC being one of them. My point is your points are invalid because you state the obvious facts. New games should be better the previous ones. I look at RE6 and for the first time in a long time Im excited. It has a coversystem, Chris does a roll into cover, he gets attacked while in cover. Leon is shooting while doing a slide on the ground. RE6 is finally making progress, yet its criticised for past games, instead of ppl just opening their eyes and judging what they see from RE6. Because as much as they hate to admit it RE6 looks great.
