It's the rare inferior showing for Tiger, set back by wonky Kinect controls and vexing DLC integration.

Is anyone still hyped on Kinect besides Microsoft?

RaptorMan4404d ago

It helped me out in Mass Effect. Of course, I could have done the same thing with a headset and that would have saved me $150...

madmad4404d ago

Is clear that EA emphasis is on making extra money from DLC instead of making a great game.

mediastudies4404d ago

Sound like this year lands one in deep sand.

sharpsword4404d ago

Its clear that Tiger isn't given the same amount of attention that Madden and Fifa get.

It Seems Easy, But Tiger's Greatest Feat is Damn Hard in a Video Game

Kotaku - In no rec league could I ever throw a no-hitter. Alone on a basketball court I'd need half an hour to score 69 points—and a trampoline to dunk. But I can do all of those things in my living room. If video games give us the conceit of doing the impossible, only now has one demonstrated how hard that really is.

EA is now running a Publisher Sale on Xbox Live that sees many games and DLC discounted by quite a bit until February 4th, 2013. Ranging from Battlefield 3 to Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue, and SSX for $10, there's a lot on sale.

Very tempted to get SSX for $10.

guitarded774102d ago

Well worth $10... not sure it was worth the $60 I paid for it.

Also, is it messed up that I already have everything on that list? I'm getting better at not buying games and waiting for sales because it feels like a kick in the nuts when I see a game I payed full price for at $10.

TrendyGamers4102d ago

A little messed up, it's a lot of games!

Yi-Long4102d ago

... while we in Europe also get these deals, yet SSX is 15 EURO, which means even though it's on sale for us as well, it's still twice as expensive as what the USA gamers have to pay for the same game...

.... which is obviously ridiculous.

guitarded774102d ago

@ Yi-Long

I have been sympathetic to gamers in other countries getting price gouged for a long time. I think it sucks that your prices are higher, especially while your currency value is inflated. Check out US amazon.com and see if they ship to your country. I have friends in South America, Europe and elsewhere that order from there to get lower prices. Some still have to pay import duties, but it is still cheaper for them go the extra mile.

JohnApocalypse4102d ago

Dam, no sale on the Battlefield 3 map packs

InsaneGam3r4102d ago

There's sale on the Premium Membership.

EA is being nice?

...Wait a minute.

Will be picking up LBPK for 10 dollars. This might be the closest PS3 users will get to a steam sale on PSN.

A step in the right direction, Sony.

@Nitrowolf2, I have the Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank collections on Disc, but if I didn't that would be a great way to get into those games.

Unfinished Swan was on sale during the Holiday Essentials sale and I missed it, so this time I don't plan on doing that again.

Nitrowolf24110d ago

The Unfinished Swan – Regular $14.99, Sale $7.49, PS Plus $3.75
Ratchet & Clank – Regular $14.99, Sale $7.49, PS Plus $3.75
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy – Regular $7.99, Sale $3.99, PS Plus $2.00

Already have the colelction, but since I'm Plus those prices are just to good to miss.

calis4110d ago

So you're buying a game you already have?

KangarooSam4110d ago (Edited 4110d ago )

Those are the three I'm planning on getting :P

I think. lol.

Great sale!

Edit: LBP Karting looks fun too, though. Not sure whether to get LBPK and US or US, R&C, and J&D. I need a sale where all four of those cost $15 haha.

Nitrowolf24110d ago

@Calis

Yeah I am, $2.00 is dirt cheap, it'll be nice to have the extra digital version.

MikeMyers4109d ago

Some good deals. Definitely getting The Unfinished Swan.
