PSNow!: Journey review

Journey is a game that needs to be recommended, simply because it is fresh and pure air.

His original proposal and the manner in which it is articulated keeps inside a very ambitious goal: to convey feelings and excite.

Depending on your personality, your disposition, your own state of mind or influence of the interaction with other players will modify completely the experience.

However, we cannot promise that the spell will enchant everyone.

I disagree.

I absolutely loved the game. Don't misunderstand me!

I thought it was well worth the 13 euro I paid for it, and it was a terrific experience and I've played through it 3 times now and I'll probably do so many more times.

HOWEVER.

It's a very different 'game'. It's more like an 'experience', and that makes it kinda hard to recommend cause they might not get out of it what I got out of it.

I have been looking forward to Journey ever since I saw the first trailer. I was blown away by how it looks, and the soundtrack is an instant classic.

But I'm sure not everyone will 'get' it, or might even be interested in 'getting' it. I knew what to expect going in, but when I tell friends about it, they kinda miss any kind of reference about what to expect.

I just tell them -I- think it's a great game and well worth the purchase, but I wouldn't tell them they MUST buy it. That's up for them to decide when they watch the trailers and read the reviews. It's not a game where I can safely say that I GUARANTEE them loving it. I honestly don't know how they will experience it.

Concept artist has a very distinct style and if they can translate that into the game well this studio will be making some visually stunning games.
