Wow! 22% drop. It didn't take long before 3ds took back Europe from the vita. Are people still saying its selling according to expectations?

GribbleGrunger4408d ago (Edited 4408d ago )

and the 3DS was beaten by the PS3, a five year old console.

see what you did? i've given you a good example so that you can work it out

Gribble, the PS Vita got outsold by a DVD player with no decent or recent exclusives...

Dante1124408d ago

Good Vita and PS3 sales. Great to see that the PS3 is number one yet again in Europe.

yabhero4407d ago

a five year old CONSOLE, which you are comparing to a HANDHELD... umm Bundi is obviously talking about handhelds so bringing up a console has nothing to do with it...
Hopefully 3DS and Vita do well...

i think you missed the point, MorBid.

With each passing week the Vita grows weaker.

MasterCornholio4407d ago

Nope that's a load of bunk. Contrary to your religious devotion to Nintendo, it is possible for 2 handhelds to exist in the same market. Granted one of the devices will vastly outsell the other but that doesn't mean that the device with inferior sales is a complete failure. Because if that was true then the 360 and the PS3 would be complete failures when compared to the Wii. But ironically, these two devices have more support from 3RD party devs than the Wii does. Seriously how did it feel to only own a Wii and miss out on Batman Arkham City, The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect 2, GTAIV, Red Dead Revolver, Border Lands etc.

Sales are not everything when it comes to a gaming device. As long as the device sells enough to earn solid support from developers then the rest is moot.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron - Coming Back for a New Generation

Originally launched in 2011, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is coming to Nintendo Switch, so It's time to look back at the original.

Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.

Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.

Fallout 3's Reveal Led To Death Threats And Bethesda's First Security Guard

The artist behind Fallout 4’s Deathclaw reveals just how bad things got back when Bethesda took over the series

anast4h ago

People are stupid I get it. No one should feel unsafe,

But I think they need to talk about why they cut so many corners during the development process and why none of their games ever look current. And why they think all of this is okay while they charge full price.

LucasRuinedChildhood3h ago

As much as Bethesda deserve criticism, that's not really relevant to the reveal of Fallout 3 in 2007.

The default angle Kotaku always go for is to highlight the worst in gaming.

I would’ve focused on the creative.
