No duh it says US, my point was for people who actually care about sales figures, US sales analysis is pointless if only analyzed in a bubble, which in this case it is. If you studied economics (which you didn't) then you'd understand my point, but nonetheless you're just a lowly pile of trolls.

What I find interesting is that ME3 only did 90K on the 360 while the PS3 numbers didn't even make the top ten.

well to be fair its been out for about 4 weeks now and has already sold millions so 90k isnt bad at all esp considering all the negative press. most of the die hard fans prob bought it day 1 so to be putting up numbers like that is still impressive. and it also started on xbox and does the majority of its sales there so the ps3 dropping out of the top 10 isnt really surprising.

i havent played it yet but i dont see why your so upset its selling. if it does well enough perhaps they will get a second try and will listen to feedback and learn from their mistakes. then we will get a much better game hopefully.

Well its good pretty well. It had a bigger first and second week than vesperia did. Almost three times the opening. Not sure how it will do in europe to be honest as some of the tales games dont seem to do well just from what Ive noticed. Example: tales of abyss on the 3ds. It looks like it did terrible in europe. But that just my perspective though.

I think your missing the point.

The context of my post is tied with the argument of Sony doing a price drop and how more games can shore up more sales that can cover the lost revenue made from the price drop.

You can't expect Sony to just drop the price without releasing more software do you? A lack of software momentum will make the price drop irrelevant in the long run.

Handhelds arent dead, but i dont see them taking off either. Consoles cover the home gaming, and smartphones cover the "On the go" light gaming.

That leaves the Vita to primaily get the segment of people who needs to play heavier games on the go.

The 3DS is in a similar situation, but nintendo has been catering more to the younger audience. This has gotten them a foothold in alot of households and the ripples have been spreading from there.

The Vita is trying to break out from the PSP mold with alot of brilliant tech, but that in itself isn't a clear market strategy.

Judging by the Target, Best Buy, Toys R US weekly adds, it's no wonder why console sales in the US are what they are. I've seen ONE add from each of those stores since Vita released. Sony can't win in the States...

If Sony did cut the price, I think it would pick up dramatically. The Vita is a fantastic piece of tech and I think it's worth the price. However, some don't understand the tech behind the price.

It has been 6 weeks and PS VITA has still not managed to sell the 500k SONY had hoped for the first 3 weeks.
Then again these are sold to consumer numbers so they probably already shipped 500k 2 weeks ago.

I decided to look this up, as I was curious, and I think it can be said that the PS Vita didn't sell 500K in the first three weeks of sale in the US (though it may have by now).

Gamespot reported 325K units in the first month (US only).
