CVG- "Ninja Gaiden 3 has finally been let loose on the world, but not everyone's happy it's here. As you'll see in our Ninja Gaiden 3 review round-up, opinion of the game has been mixed, with scores ranging from 8/10 to 3/10.
In our Ninja Gaiden 3 review we believed Ninja Gaiden 3 aspired "to be all things to all people, to offer accessibility beyond its hardcore roots", but concluded that the outcome was a bit hit or miss.
We've identified our issues with the latest entry in the acclaimed hack 'n' slash series and mused over our wishes for the next iteration. Here's what we want to see."
Ninja Gaiden hasn’t seen a full release since its third instalment, and that game definitely divided opinions. Personally, Toby loved Ninja Gaiden 3 (He did play Razor’s Edge) and he has been left wanting more of the ridiculous, bloody action the series has become known for. A new Ninja Gaiden probably won’t win any awards, nor will it sell particularly well, but there is a place in his heart for games like it. Devil’s Third was released fairly recently, and that goes someway to scratching the itch for an over-the-top, graphic action game, but it is not as good as Ninja
The new Team Ninja doesn't seem like they fully understand what NG is supposed to be in my opinion.
I really disliked the Sigma versions and 3 was just terrible
this would be a great addition. same with a new bushido blade and a new shinobi and a new tenchu. we need great ninja games!
Team Ninja has confirmed that they're looking into development of a proper Ninja Gaiden after Yaiba.
You can guarantee this on WiiU team ninja love Nintendo...and have already said they will include wiiu in their plans...
what we want to see is more of the original Ninja Gaiden, with a sprinkling in of Ninja Gaiden 2. or, to put it more bluntly, what the series was like before Hayashi got hold of it.
The game has not even been out a week, and you already thinking of Part IV. Let's hope Team Ninja takes a break from this franchise, and put all their attention to making DOA 5 a top notch fighter
I think this series needs to stay put in this gen.
gaiden 4 needs to have more rpg elements than all the other gaidens combined ( which gaiden 3 praticly ignored it ), add difficulty settings for all kinds of players ( giving players options is always the best way for a game sucess imo ) and an engrosing story that puts the player through many cool locations like gaiden 1 did.
I not a fan of the gaiden series but i know what it essencially needs to be.
Is there gonna be NG4? I heard Tecmo aren't doing well these days.
