Remember the Road Rash franchise, EA’s violent motorcycle racing series?
Well, it’s exactly what the gaming industry needs right now. It’s time for a re-imagining of Electronic Art’s classic franchise.
Why Road Rash, the classic arcade racer developed by EA needs to come back and be introduced to a brand new generation of gamers.
3do was the only console I never had back in the day. I always wanted to play need for speed and road rash on that but price was ridicolous and I couldnt afford.
This week Peggy (@MoiraiOW) joins Ti ny (@Tiny415) Mike (@AssaultSuit) and Aaron (@Ind1fference) to talk about esports, video games, Overwatch, late 80s movies, board games and more video games.
Road Redemption is the perfect blend of arcade, action and racing with a full single player campaign that supports 4 player split screen coop
Well, that was sure a blast from the past.
What is it about nostalgia that makes me all warm inside?
I really think it's time for a new Road Rash title. That cancelled game footage looks great.
It pretty much embodies exactly what a new Road Rash could be.
indeed, Road Rash, i think, would have a huge chance of being a hit.
it would resonate with old school gamers, and newer games could be drawn in from the idea of brutal motorcycle racing with intense, high speed combat.
the concept video release and year or two ago looked awesome, to bad it got canned, or at least put on the back burner for the time being.
Road Rash 64 was the last one i played, and i loved every second of it.
please Road Rash, knock me off my bike soon.
Considering all "gamers" care about these days are war torn FPS games, I think we should let nostalgia be. I loved road rash back in the 16- bit error, but i feel like "gamers" today won't really understand or grasp the concept , because it isn't a "popular" title or a "fps"
"gamer" as in 14-16 year old kid who plays games they hear are good and ask their parents to get for them.
Damn right! Road Rash on 3DO was awesome!
