DSOGaming writes: "Incoming shocking news. A new expansion is under development for the old classic strategy game, Age of Empires II."
EG:
Age of Mythology is getting a new expansion 13 years after the game came out.
Ensemble Studios' strategy game launched on PC in 2002, and, a year later, saw the release of expansion pack The Titans.
Now, a new expansion pack called Tale of the Dragon has been announced. It's in development at Forgotten Empires and SkyBox Labs, the two studios who have worked on Age of Empires 2 HD Edition and last year's Age of Mythology: The Extended Edition, which includes the base game and the Titans expansion, as well as Steamworks integration, Twitch support, an enhanced observer mode, native HD widescreen and improved water and lighting.
SteamFirst: The Forgotten Expansion is an addition from the game Age of Empires 2 HD, which includes the original set The Age of King, and The Conqueror expansion. The Forgotten adds 5 new civilizations: Italians, Indians, Slavs, Magyars and Incas; and four new campaigns: Alaric, Sforza, Bari and Dracula. Along with new maps and Artificial Intelligence to fight with.
Age of Empires II HD is due to receive some huge updates over the next few months with content updates and patches. The first campaign has gone live today and is focused on the legendary Lost City of Gold, El Dorado. The game has been upgraded to v 3.3 and now includes several campaign and localisation fixes.
In the new El Dorado content, the game lets you join Francisco Orellana and Gonzalo Pizarro on a quest to find El Dorado. The content features four new campaign missions, a historical story and a new intro slide system.
Back to the the classic huh? after that huge flop called Age of Empires online.

although it looks fake, i mean the indian castle looks like a mongol castle...
I haven't played Ages of Empires in years.
From that video, it looks exactly the same. I'd sware it was footage from when I played and put 2012 in front of it.
Maybe they should consider doing a 3rd installment.
That's the impression i got.
