The Most Evil Species in Gaming

What is the most evil creature in interactive entertainment?

Gaming, a medium built most often upon conflict, is full of evil. If we define evil as unnecessary suffering inflicted on undeserving victims, then we can find dozens of culprits brimming with it.

While certain species enter a gray area of morality, motivation, and their own sense of victimhood, some species remain shining beacons of pure, unarguable evil. Here are the most evil species in gaming, at least when it comes to crimes against humanity.

Missing the Necromorphs - Its existence is a threat to any living organism. 99%?

Something I find interesting:

Locust - erase mankind in Theory (so do they not wish to wipe out the humans?), willing to destroy humans with a giant worm (how effective in killing all humans is this? Or is it the associated epicness of its size that makes it appear to be a very evil method?).

Given 85%

Chimera - nearly making mankind extinct, and then attempting to freeze the entire world (thus almost killing the rest). As they spread they turn humans into Chimera, or kill them.

Edit: Chimera have used various giant methods of killing humans too, most are bosses in Resistance 2.

Given 65%

Until I understand if the locust actually want all human dead (I know they want the other mutation species dead), it is hard to say if they even compare to the Chimera (see humans as a lesser race that came after them).

Review - A Difficult Game About Climbing (PC) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "A Difficult Game About Climbing is obviously frustrating, and I don’t exactly think it’s a fun pasttime, but it’s exponentially more enjoyable than the horrendous Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy. It’s actually beatable with enough trial and error. Its mechanics, whilst not exactly polished to the brim, work as intended, with no intentional input lag. It’s still clearly meant for Let’s Play youtubers to film themselves losing their minds over it, but it can still be a passable challenge if you’re up for the task."

Review - New Star GP (PC) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "I loved that New Star GP ended up being nothing like what I was expecting from it. I thought I was going to get a simple and straightforward love letter to Virtua Racing, only for it to be something more akin to the best F1 racing games from the mid to late 90s, with a perfect blend of accessible physics and simulation elements. New Star GP is adorably retro in its visuals and vibes, but it’s got some surprising amount of depth and an interesting career mode. A little hidden gem in the racing scene, without a doubt."
