I know , while ME2 was great, it was a non liner TPS, not an RPG. Maybe ME3 will change into a platforming game, or a racing game :p

And the RPGs I want ar not listed:

Tales of Graces
NiNuKuni
Devil Survivor 2
Last Story

Ni No Kuni is going to blow minds.. I pray this one doesn't fly under the radar.

Not having Ni no Kuni on a list like this shows 2 things:
-The author doesn't know a whole lot about RPGs
-Namco Bandai needs to start upping the hype.

Its JRPGs, RPGs made in Japan, that has a problem with HD consoles. Western RPGs - aside from being overrated, something that's been accepted rather than advanced - are in any real difficulty.

Im getting:

Ni no Kuni
Diablo III
Tales of Graces f
Xenoblade (U.S. release)

potentially

Guid Wars 2 and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning also

Xenoblade and The Last Story

Both of those games will likely put most other JRPGs to shame. Though that should not be too hard to accomplish this generation. Lets hope we get RPGs next generation on the same scale as games like Skies Of Arcadia.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.
