Which is Better Wired or Wireless?

GamerFitNation writes: There has always been debate over what type of controller do you use, wired or wireless. On either side of the debate are people who feel very strongly about which to choose. And of course in every debate there are pros and cons to both. The main sticking points are price, the use of batteries, and cords.

No real gamer trusts wireless when victory is on the line!

Mr Tretton4466d ago

A smart gamer checks battery life before starting a game.

SilentNegotiator4466d ago

A smarter gamer doesn't have to worry about batteries at all ;)

I prefer wired, but if I have a rechargeable battery, I'll play wirelessly.

ZippyZapper4465d ago

People still use wired? The first 20 min of the movie 2001 comes to mind.

jacksonmichael4466d ago

Depends on the battery situation. I use wireless for PS3 (because there isn't really any reason not to) and wired for 360. Works for me.

Knightofelemia4466d ago

I perfer wireless I could be playing a 360 game on the sofa move my elbow the wrong way and pull the headset chord out of the 360 controller.

Wireless on consoles and PC for me.(I hook up everything to one HDTV) Unless its online multiplayer on PC,wireless is great.

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

Furesis2h ago

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.

It's worth a play through today.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron - Coming Back for a New Generation

Originally launched in 2011, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is coming to Nintendo Switch, so It's time to look back at the original.

jznrpg21h ago

Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.

darthv7220h ago

Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.

Fallout 3's Reveal Led To Death Threats And Bethesda's First Security Guard

The artist behind Fallout 4’s Deathclaw reveals just how bad things got back when Bethesda took over the series

anast22h ago

People are stupid I get it. No one should feel unsafe,

But I think they need to talk about why they cut so many corners during the development process and why none of their games ever look current. And why they think all of this is okay while they charge full price.

LucasRuinedChildhood21h ago

As much as Bethesda deserve criticism, that's not really relevant to the reveal of Fallout 3 in 2007.

VenomUK19h ago

The default angle Kotaku always go for is to highlight the worst in gaming.

I would’ve focused on the creative.

anast1h ago

The game went downhill at Fallout 3's release. This is when they started to cut corners.

gold_drake17h ago

there is no "but". the hell lol
you dont send death threats, period.

anast47m ago

Usually, you have good comments but this isn't one of them. It just rides the mob. We can do both condemn the actions and not let them use it for other things.

I can say I received a death threat and everyone needs to shut up. People are not honest and will use horrible things to their advantage.

Armaggedon13h ago

Not all games “look” current.

anast46m ago

Their games always look like the gen before it.
