Rumor: Mortal Kombat 10 Confirmed

StickSkills.com writes, "In a Twitter conversation between Ed Boon (co-creator of Mortal Kombat) and Sid Shuman (PlayStation social media/community guy, former GamePro senior editor) regarding D.I.C.E 2012, Mr. Boon may have just confirmed what all fighting gamers were hoping for.."

Colwyn4468d ago

bring back john tobias to help make mortal kombat 10. should be ed boon and john tobias

mafiahajeri4467d ago

Well I wonder if theyl make a movie tie in!? The movies slated for 2013 release and since its warner brothers were talking about their probably want the game released about the same time as the movie.

Now if they make the game based on the movie that would be funny.

This is just a comment about MK Vita, its not really the next MK game for home consoles, Ed Boon isn't stupid enough to post it on his twitter before an initial press release. Just read what he wrote after it "Nope. We would never announce another MK via the twitters."

MariaHelFutura4468d ago (Edited 4468d ago )

How can a RUMOR be a CONFIRMATION? Its kinda a oxymoron.

Solid_Snake374468d ago

Exactly, Rumour: X is confirmed???????

doctorstrange4468d ago

His twitter denies it, says it was blatant sarcasm and linked to this post saying "seriously?"

https://twitter.com/#!/noob...

Ares84HU4468d ago

I was about to say that......

It's a rumor that it got confirmed. Amazing journalism!

Boody-Bandit4467d ago (Edited 4467d ago )

I was going to say the same thing when I saw the title.

Is it a rumor or a confirmation? Seriously how does trash like this keep getting approved on this site? If these sites don't know the difference between a rumor and a confirmation then they shouldn't write articles at all.

Nothing but twitter nonsense.
This has already been discredited so why not delete this story?

Boone response on twitter to this lame rumor:
noobdeEd Boon

RT @j_uptown559 @noobde SO MK10 IS CONFIRMED?? EB: Nope. We would never announce another MK via the twitters.

Spydiggity4467d ago (Edited 4467d ago )

was gonna say the same thing.

the answer is: hits.

Stryfeno24467d ago

I think he/she meant

Confirmed: Mortal Kombat 10 a rumor.

Megaton4467d ago (Edited 4467d ago )

spicelicka4468d ago

hahahaaha i was gonna say the same thing

acemonkey4468d ago

thats cool....make online better its laggy most of the time....

mafiahajeri4467d ago

Its powered by Gamespy which automaticly means the servers are going tobe buggy and laggy...

No more Gamespy powered games for me though learnt my lesson with Homefront and MK :D

DFogz4467d ago (Edited 4467d ago )

Laggy isn't the half of it. The servers they're using now will randomly disconnect you mid-match then say "Servers unavailable" until you quit to main menu and go back online. Then it tells you your ethernet cable isn't connected (when it clearly is) and you have to retry several more times until it connects.
I get server errors at the *least* a half dozen times per hour (not counting retries). Oh and, if you're at the room list and hit Refresh, rooms will randomly appear and disappear.

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

LG_Fox_Brazil3d ago

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai2d ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing692d ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle2d ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal2d ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

DaReapa2d ago

No. Square Enix owns the IP.

Abnor_Mal2d ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

*As per Wikipedia

boing12d ago (Edited 2d ago )

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.
