In Entertainment writes: Now we know the PC beta is on steam you can count on the same update entering console certification. The last PC patch, v1.3, hit steam in beta form back on December 7 and then made its way to PS3 on December 15, which is around one week later after certification.
The next Skyrim patch for PS3 owners is one of the most important yet, and this is thanks to a promise for frame rate issues to be fixed once and for all. PS3 owners should keep an eye on early next week for the 1.4 patch to land on their console
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
The developers of Lordbound increased the scope as they became more familiar with the Creation Kit and got inspired by the original Skyrim.
Created by Bethesda Softworks, The Elder Scrolls is hailed as one of the most groundbreaking RPG franchises.
Just as it did with the last patch, v1.4 has now entered certification for the PS3 so I cannot wait until next week when it hits both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
hurry up
Wondering how they gonna tackle framerate issues... draw distance set to minimum :P
Not getting this game until these issues are fixed.
it lags and has a very poor framerate in spots on the 360 too, my little brother got for xbox and he says it runs terrible in some spots, i know its not as bad as ps3 but it's bad from what he says.
todd howard said (in a very veiled way, trying to keep it politically correct) Skyrim was intended for next gen consoles. I imagine that they (next gen consoles) were taking so long to come out and they had finished the pc version so it was basically no choice but to try to downgrade the visuals drastically and force it onto ps3 and 360, thats why it only runs well on pc. They should have dropped the resolution of the console versions even lower, something like modern warfares 1024x600 or resistance 3's 960x680.
