Gran Turismo For PlayStation Vita: How Long Must We Wait?

Chris Buffa (Modojo): It's a foregone conclusion that Gran Turismo will appear on PlayStation Vita in some fashion. Sony will commission Polyphony Digital to harness the machine's power to produce (in theory) one of the most advanced portable driving simulator's the world's ever seen.

I hope that Sony will not announce the game to make people wait for it for years.

When you see how much hatred the medias developed for this serie because it took time to release, it looked like they wanted to kill the game before they actually played it for month and month. I think it's better for Polyphony Digital not to announce anything, and start to speak about it when it will be really well developed.

Anyway, Modojo looks more and more trash oriented with those poorly written articles.
I clearly stop reading those very limited analysis from now.

But of course! That Metroid cosplay article you approved...and The Last of Us ad for the next issue of a magazine...with no data whatsoever....those were especially deep and insightful. Nice work!

It's pure information. last of US ad is pure information. And that Cosplay article was just funny. Come on you look serious when you think you found something. Maybe you write (if we can call that writting) at modojo...

There are not random and trash thoughts around that. Like this negative approach that you read in this modojo article : "how much time will it takes".
Instead of writting about all the games that gonna be released, to write about all those games, they prefer make a news about GT that havn't been announced by focusing on the lenght of the development, making presomption and very lazy speculation. it's not professional, nore fun, it's just random and not interesting.

It's just writters at modojo that are limited.

Deal with it.

Buff10444484d ago

Who said anything about being negative? Polyphony's games take a long time to develop. That is a fact. OK, us "writters" will try harder next time. ;)

StraightPath4484d ago

Hopefully better the PSP Gran Turismo....we all know how that turned out. But with the new hardware we can expect a full GT experience on a handheld.

sikbeta4484d ago

I'd like to know what could happened IF GTPSP was released months after the announcement and not years later :(

It' should have been able to drive sales for that device, but hell, Sony just release things and don't think in support them until it's just too late

Oy

It's not difficult to port PS3 games to the Vita. It was very difficult for PD to port GT5 Prologue to the PSP.

Me-Time4484d ago

So I'm wrong? All right. That makes none sense.

So long as it doesn't take so long, I'm good. I expect great things from Polyphony, including a career mode.

Bundi4484d ago

As long as it takes them to make a proper GT on a handheld this time around. The PSP one is just disappointment on UMD. Proper career mode this time?

Buff10444484d ago

Definitely....I hope they don't make that mistake again. But hey, it may have taken 6 years had they included it.

xflo3604484d ago

Hopefully we will be able to stream gt5 to the vita!

DigitalAnalog4484d ago (Edited 4484d ago )

Different dev teams work on spin-off franchises on the PSP, I don't see why PD should be any different. All the assets and material are in place. At best, Kaz should only overlook the project.
