Wow talk about being arrogant retards.

@Below yea M$ guess i should have worded my statement better>_<.

WolfLeBlack4485d ago

I'm assuming you're talking about Microsoft? :D

Godmars2904485d ago

Who are you talking about: MS for not allowing it for what seems to be a petty reasoning, or Just Add for repeatedly complaining about it?

My money's on MS.

Shadonic4485d ago

yea this is a fail on Microsoft.

WolfLeBlack4485d ago

I agree with that. At this point there's seems to be another reason to their refusals, but they're simply not telling us what that reason is.

It'll be interesting to find out, should they ever reveal it.

kaveti66164485d ago

Wasn't the original reason why Microsoft refuses to publish the game because they demanded that it be exclusive to XBLA or that it be released day and date with the PSN version?

Infernostew4485d ago

I don't know how that having the release day and date with psn is relevant anymore since they allowed Joe Danger on XBLA.

coolbeans4485d ago

Joe Danger didn't release on XBLA, Joe Danger: Special Edition did.

maniacmayhem4485d ago

Well if that's the case then just release it for PSN and forget about XBL.

In the future if this is the whole story Just Add Water should with hold their future games from 360.

Would love to hear the other side of this story though. Would like to hear from MS their version of this story.

Yeah that makes great business sense, lets withhold from the 2nd biggest market of digital games. They should make you CEO.
That said, pretty wanky move Microsoft. I'm very disappoint son. Their reasons don't make any sense and are just petty. Shame on you Microsoft.

maniacmayhem4485d ago

I would be great as a CEO, thanks for the vote of confidence.

Stuart is awesome on psnation podcast when he is a guest.

yesmynameissumo4485d ago (Edited 4485d ago )

That's a shame. I had this on the original Xbox and loved it. The remake is fairing pretty well in terms of reviews too. It's weird it was a Xbox exclusive last gen, now it looks to be a PS3 exclusive this gen (until a PC version of course). I think this is due to the blog post on PlayStation when it was first announced and it not being on the 360 first. Wasn't the XBLA version of Portal larger than 2GB?

WolfLeBlack4485d ago (Edited 4485d ago )

No, Portal: Still Alive (to give it its XBLA name) is actually only 628mb, which is pretty impressive.

The 2GB size limit for Arcade games is a actual hardware limitation, as opposed to a wierd choice by MS. As far as I'm away, anyway

Stranger's Wrath is still brilliant 15 years on - and the new Switch port is impressive

As one of the last major releases for the original Xbox, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is also one of the most memorable games on the system, taking the series to new places with a cross between third-person platforming and first-person shooting. With its unique weapons system, open-ended mission design and fascinating story, it's a game that always felt special and still holds up today - and it's recently received an impressive Switch conversion.
