Developed by Tokyo-based FROM software - the creative team responsible for the popular Armored Core and Otogi series - CHROMEHOUNDS offers an intense, photo realistic look at war from the cockpits of colossal metal vehicles. These heavily-armed weapons of war, called HOUNDS, dominate ground battles during warfare in the near-future. Squads of HOUNDs take to the field in international factions; cooperating with and complementing each other in terms of firepower, range of movement, and abilities. Domination of the world is the prize for the mightiest army on the field. Strategic planning, snap reflexes and communication are key to winning the day in this battle-hardened action title. Players will take the role of either a Squad Member or a Tactics Commander, who is responsible for strategically guiding the team to victory with verbal commands on Xbox Live. One of Xbox 360's best mech games is coming back.
The original Chromehounds was amazing and hands-down one of the best exclusive games for the Xbox 360. I really hope a sequel is being made.
Phil actually said they would go back to work on older xbx exclusiv ips and even though ill be happy to see fromsoftware and Ms work on a sequel to chromehounds, i'd be even happier if they worked on a sequel to Otogi or better still do both.
Chomehounds was so ahead of it's time, a new one utilizing the new XBL tech would make so much sense and would potentially be an awesome game.
Don't get your hopes up, i did when i found this on Reddit, then the date was Calculated as ending on April 1st, April Fools day, its a hoax

The day's aren't passing by fast enough. I feel like a kid waiting for gifts at Xmas time. I can't wait to tower over the baddies while their shooting their pea-guns at my 4 story; one man/mech army.

I'm not so sure about this game, I dunna I will play the demo for sure, but I don't know if it appeals to me, well I dont know crap about it, maybe thats why, what is it all about? You build a hound and than destroy sh*t?
