CVG reviews Mass Effect

They say your first is always the one you remember the strongest. It's certainly true of the first planetary landing you make in Mass Effect. There may be greener, denser, more populated spheres, but your first landing is special. It's one of those moments. The kind of event that, ten or twenty years from now when the mainstream media are no longer scared of all the flashy lights and loud bangs, will be at the business end of those pitiful 'Top 100 Gaming Moments' list things that Channel 4 commission so very, very often. You can imagine how it would go.

guys as i predicted in my forum post last week, its the same review that was in XboxWorld 360 magazine that i got and posted in the forums.

this game is getting rave reviews across the board.

unfortunately.. MS deemed it necessary for my xbox360 to "break" just days away from it's release... how convenient.. my replacement 360 didn't last 2 weeks before giving me an "unplayable disc" error

lol it already came back with the extra heatsink.. after a 2 year run, my 360 caught the RROD and I got it back November 8th... a week later i'm plagued by "unplayable disc" errors...

that happened to me but it was only with 1 game, the inner cirle on the dvd was craked, is this with all games, can u still play dvds?

any disc i put in the drive (music cd, cd-r, dvd, game, etc)... i even went so far as to put a music cd in there and flip the 360 from horizontal to vertical to see if it'll scratch the disc.. the drive isn't even spinning.. lol so i have to get another box, send it off, wait another 2 weeks, etc

They betray you by making sure that your console BREAKS DOWN IMMEDIATELY. I know there's nothing more depressing than opening up your new crapbox game just to see it Red Ring on your @ss.

This game looks really good. I wouldn't be surprised if it got Game Of The Year.

looks as good as glitches of ware, which was also the most 180 could do in graphics, with the last reserves 180 had also for graphics

Microsoft owns the rights for the trilogy.

Dr. Greg Zeschuk is the President and a Co-Executive Producer at BioWare Corp. He stated that it was a trilogy and would not be exclusive to the 360. Given that, I'd assume there is an incredibly small chance it will be seen outside of the 360. That doesn't mean things will change over time, but it will take nothing short of an official company announcement that it is coming to another platform for me to believe it.
