Nice but I still like the look of the Dawnbreaker more.

I remember selling the sword because my blades sword was stronger

Mr_cheese4530d ago

I sold mine as the ebony sword was better

I kept it just for looks.

edit: Not too keen on a lot of these videos TBH. If anything, I'd like a video showing us where to get the crazy masks worn by the old Nord lords who are quite tough to kill.

you mean the dragon priests ?

most of them you find when you go looking for dragon shouts.

I have 4 of them so far. there is one you get when you complete the mages quests.

Raf1k14530d ago

Yeh that's what I meant. I got lucky with the one giving 20% better archery and other stuff since it was perfect for my character and got it quite early on. Though I prefer the look of the Nightingale hood this is more beneficial.

You get one at the end of the main quest, i found another at a standing stone that had 3 words on it so i got a full shout :D but i deserved it after killing the blood dragon and that *bleep* and its stupid ice titan things :)

I literally just picked it up, saved, then came on here to read this. That's just awesome.

It's a good sword but no matter what you do making your own weapon and put two enchantments on it will be better. Not to mention perks to increase certain weapon damage. Other than that I really dig the look of this sword.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast13d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22913d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko13d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave13d ago (Edited 13d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
