GUFUyourself writes - "War games set in the vaguely foreseeable future are a dime a dozen these days. It’s hard to even go to a store and not trip over one or two of them. So, in this market, it takes a lot for a game using such a hackneyed premise to be able to stand out amongst its numerous peers. Battlefield 3 is EA and DICE’s latest in the “modern, near-future war shooter” genre and it tries to stand out from the crowd by updating the popular Battlefield 2 multiplayer formula for the current shooter market and creating a campaign that’s more or less Call of Duty with better graphics."
Whether it comes through remakes or a new game with a similar style, DICE should aim to revive the glory days of Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2.
hmmm I think there will be no old BF glory days for EA since they are loyal to their greediness and laziness :D
You're asking for a miracle with EA that will never happen unless they can exploit the money making schemes behind it.
This Battlefield 3 Reality Mod installation guide will show you step-by-step on how to install the new reality mod by Venice Unleashed.
Battlefield 3 Reality Mod release is now set for July 17, and we get a brand new release date trailer that brings the action and grounded gunfights.
I agree with the review overall.
But the weapons are supposed to be slow to unlock. People do tend to sink massive numbers of hours into BF and one of the problems with BC2 was that the unlocks were too fast.
I don't think the campaign should have any relevance to the review score AT ALL, most people probably havn't even played the campaign yet, I never will (havn't done the BC2 one either).
If it wasn't buggy and the maps weren't dumbed down for consoles then it would deserve 9/10.
Im bf fan 2142 still wins for me with no singleplayer.
This is a decent game, online could be better but overall its acctually pretty good
