Dear Simpsons,

Even though you are slowly dying, thank you for making an episode like this.

You're helping to support gamers.... UNLESS YOU'RE MOCKING US IN THE EPISODE!

Bye :)

Noticeably_FAT4545d ago

The Simpsons aren't dying, they might not have the same effect now days because they have already done everything, now other shows copy them.

Also, people always try to compare new episodes to classic ones that they remember fondly, nothing can compare to the first time you watched the Simpsons, it's dumb to compare. The Simpsons are still the best animated show on television IMHO.

ECM0NEY4545d ago

They have been for a while now.

Futurama>Simpsons

Commander_TK4545d ago

Completely agree, dude. They have done everything. Even South Park admitted it. Simpsons is the best show in the history of television and Homer Simpson is the greatest fictional character of all time.

Shackdaddy8364545d ago

They are actually dying. This year, the voice actors had to take a large pay-cut to keep the show going.

LarVanian4545d ago (Edited 4545d ago )

Slowly dying? The Simpsons has been dead to me for over a decade. There is absolutely no creativity in the show these days IMO, and this episode is a prime example of that.

EDIT- Noticeably_FAT
It has nothing to do with nostalgia like you are implying, the Simpsons just isn't funny anymore.

Bathyj4545d ago

Simpsons still have some hilarious moments.

Its just that they're down to 4 or 5 an episode when it used to be about 10 a minute.

ChickenOfTheCaveMan4545d ago

The Simpsons are like Jay Leno, you can't believe it's still on and makes you kinda laugh sometimes.

IcyEyes4545d ago

Simpons is not dying slowing ... is already dead. The difference with Futurama is simple : "futurama" have the balls to close the show before it turns in a zombie show like Simpson.

The parody in this episodes show only how much biased and how poor are their ideas.

optimus4545d ago

um futurama was actually cancelled by fox after about 2 seasons, they continue to live in reruns now.

NiKK_4194545d ago (Edited 4545d ago )

Actually Futurama was cancelled after 4 seasons. Then, like, 5 years later they aired 4 direct-to-DVD movies in 4 parts each on Comedy Central. Now, they are airing brand new episodes on Comedy Central. They just aired a whole season of almost 30 episodes and are going to air the next season sometime next year.

The Simpsons is very stale to me. I just never find anything in the episodes funny. A lot of those shows are getting stale to me: Family Guy, The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show, American Dad, Futurama. I still watch every episode, except sometimes The Simpsons. South Park is one show I still think is hilarious at times.

I loved the God Of War parody, you can tell they were actually gamers because they poke fun of how easy the game was.

Bathyj4545d ago

Expensive Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Classic.

Bathyj4545d ago

I cant believe they didnt show Angry Birds and Y Box.

Marceles4545d ago (Edited 4545d ago )

Angry Birds was like the first thing they showed. They shot a bird at what was supposed to be at the game, but it was overthrown and hit a real construction site. Didn't disagree btw lol...

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos1h ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Tacoboto36m ago

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

banger8820m ago

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

Furesis17h ago

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.

anast16h ago

It's worth a play through today.

gold_drake9h ago
