SodaHead: We hope your Halloween was as hair-raising and horrifying as a night spent playing "Fatal Frame" with the lights off -- and we mean that in the best way possible. But "Fatal Frame" (our personal favorite) didn't manage to grab the top spot in our Scariest Video Game poll. That honor went to "Silent Hill," Konami's legendary psychotic survival horror.
Of course, it was impossible to list all of the scary games out there, so we had to limit our choices to just a few popular titles, and we did regretfully leave out one important pick from our list of options, but we'll get to that in a second. Estelle Mejia says: Silent Hill, for those who don’t know, is a psychological horror survival series that has declined somewhat. yea, but the recent ones are weak.
If more people had played Amnesia I am sure it would have easily won. Perhaps it wins just because people haven't played it due to being too scared...yeah that will do :P
I'm disappointed Fatal Frame didn't score higher. That's the only horror series that has truly scared me. That final chapter in Fatal Frame 1....holy shit!
Have they played Siren? Those are scary games.
I played Silent Hill Homecoming, then played Dead Space... played it 2 hours, went back to Homecoming. IDK, there's nothing like SH for me
