Patrick of GAMElitist.com - "Recently, I've begun to notice that every game is slowly becoming the same. Surely it's not just me, but I'm having a genuine problem telling some games apart these days. It's more than just following a trend like what happened with racing games post-2000 where everything was a street racer. It's a set of points starting with Halo: Combat Evolved and going all the way to modern day."
Remember the days of four-player couch co-op? The Wealth of Geeks team certainly does. This list brings us back to the golden years of the original Xbox with the best four-player games that were available.
Have you ever looked at a modern first-person shooter and wondered "How did we get here?" Wealth of Geeks performs a deep dive into the genre, including some of the most influential games, from the very first FPS from the cross-genre experiences that changed the game entirely.
As the long-rumored Gears of War Collection looks like it may finally materialize on Xbox, the timing could not be better as Gears 6 and movie news swirls.

All jokes aside congratulations to all the gears fans it will be a blast I remember having fun on the first one on my 360 elite till got RROD and quit Xbox all together but that’s a story for another day.
Congratulations 🎊 🍾 🎉 🎈 🎉 🙏
I'm excited for this just aslong is on the pc also cause I don't have the newest xbox console.
I am very picky about my FPS games.
I don't get them if it has a grey and black setting
I get them when they are unique (half-life and metroid prime)
I rather have a tropical environment
I don't want respawning enemies
I don't care about the story for an FPS. I care more for gameplay
Keep them to yourself. FPS are not all the same!
must not have played killzone 2/3. Very great games imho.
Fighting games r way better
