Honestly I doubt you do when you say you only do a series a generation or if you do you talk about going back in the upcoming gen?..personally I wish you never had such system one series per gen I loved ND'S Crash and j&d games so to did i love uncharted but too much one is a killer man like i like uncharted 1&2 three looks like game of the year contender but im not in a rush to get it because im not that excited Its just more uncharted at this point =/ id love for some one else to pick up j&d for the fans sake

Come on Naughty Dog, please make at least one last epic Jak & Daxter game! Jak 4 after Uncharted 3 please, then you can focus on a new IP and Uncharted next gen

J&D and Jak 2 were probably what got me interested in the games industry--I loved the artwork and gameplay mechanics, the drastic change in gameplay aesthetics--almost everything about those two games. In fact, I loved them so much, it actually led me to want to become a game dev. Though the chances of actually leading development on a game are quite slim, I'm going to school for game development--hopefully someday I'll get the chance in this hell of an industry, even if it is a self produced indy *fingers crossed*.

I like their 1 ip each gen. That means they can focus on that one franchise and end up making it legendary like crash and Jak.

Crash bandicoot is great and all but I think Naught Dog has surpassed this. Uncharted isn't just about great gameplay but has great storytelling. Crash is more of a fun type of game. UC is more serious

I dont know. It wasnt really fun in the general sense. Yes I wanted to play the game, but not because of the gameplay (if that can be called gameplay), but because of its dark depressing story.

It was enjoyable in the sense its enjoyable to watch Se7en or Schindler's List, in that it doesnt make you laugh or feel good, but makes you sad and depressed which makes such a long-lasting and significant impact on you.

Hope Cage continues to make those experiences.

I'd imagine getting the rights to Crash Bandicoot back would be fairly easy. Hes kind of a dead character.

I'd love to see ND work on a Crash reboot for Vita while they wait for PS4 dev kits to show up (assuming they don't already have them at the office). Crash would be a great character to bring to Vita, but ONLY if ND is behind it.

I wouldn't say he's dead. My kids play the ps1 downloads, along with Spyro all the time. However I do agree, they shouldn't have ever let that license go in the first place. Crash wasn't the best game ever, but it was really good, especially for the time those games came out. The commercials were the best too, and Crash should have been one of Sony's main mascots. Though they have plenty already, but just for Nostalgia.

Crash is great, they're probably some of my all time favorites. I just meant hes dead in the fact that he hasn't had a new game in so long and hasn't had a good one since the original PlayStation and as far as we know, there are no plans for a new Crash game.

Oh man, if they brought back Crash and Crash Team Racing on PS3, I would lose my mind.

Problem was that Universal owned the rights to Crash and Spyro, despite ND and Insomniac making them. Much like how Ninja Theory made Heavenly Sword, yet the license is owned by Sony who are free to do what the like, even give it to another developer without Ninja Theory's consent.

But it would be awesome to see Insomniac and ND take back the rights and make Vita games out of them.

Yeah I bet that "talk" lasted 5 seconds, ND really need to finish off their games before making a new franchise. They didn't even bother finishing the J&D story with a proper 4th PS3 instalment.

Compared to last gen this gen as a whole is like a drought.

Regarding the HD port of J&D, one of the retailers in South Africa has a January 2012 release date for it. Strangely they are extremely reliable, they had knowledge and a price for the PSP remastered GOW games months before it became public knowledge as well, so here is to hoping they are spot on with this one.

I hope they get Crash back first then make Jak 4. See they must be thinking about getting Crash back, they should save Spyro while their at it.

As I said before, ND or Sony should open up a sister sutido where as ND finish one game off, the sister studio starts on another and moves that up to ND to finish when they're done with their game. Would mean they could make games for two franchises during a one gen.

I hope they take note of Crash Twinsanity's humor, Traveller's Tales did a great Crash game and was the best one after ND. They way they transformed Cortex into this hillarious villain was amazing.

Like when Cortex said lines such as

"It's true, blondes do have more fun" while dressed as Coco

or when him and Crash are going through the "Moulin Cortex"

"Ladies...excuse me madam.....Are those real............MOTHER"

They need to pass on Crash and make Jak 4. As that's the one that would sell. Nobody is gonna play a modern Crash game. There is a reason why they no longer have the license.

Crash Bamdicoot 2: Cortex Strike's Back was my very first platforming game. Crash 1,2,3 and CTR were all amazingly fun and addictive as a kid. My favorite PS1 game of all time is Crash Bandicoot Warped.

I want all Crash Bandicoot games developed by Naughty Dog in one HD collection with trophies. If it was up to me, Naughty Dog would've kept the rights to Crash Bandicoot always and made sure he was the PlayStation's mascot. Naughty Dog should make a Crash Bandicoot game for PS3.

Jak and Daxter is a great series that needs an HD remake and a PS3 sequel too.
