Scott Lipowitz from DualShockers.com writes: E.Y.E. is a game that is extremely polarizing, even among our own staff. It is simultaneously confused, ambitious, insane, creative, frustrating, intense and annoying. It is actually a little impressive how the game can go from interesting to boring in the span of seconds. The game has some brilliant concepts, but they are obscured by the fact that it tries to do too much. It wants to be Deus Ex, Half-Life, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Doom, Total Recall and even Aliens. It wants to be an RPG and an FPS. To an extent it even succeeds. However, the core question really is, is this game good?
Cyberpunk doesn’t really need any more hype. It already has all the attention needed by everyone involved; not ignoring all the faux journalism surrounding the game’s political correctness. In all seriousness though, this article will not really talk about the game succeeding in a way that we, as “fanboys” of CD Projekt Red, want it to. We want a quality product. We are excited, but also cautiously keeping our expectations in check. Here we want to take a look at the implications that the success of the game MIGHT have on the industry and how we would love some of our favorite titles to get deserved limelight.
Steam's Summer Sale has tons of games at low prices, but here are the best games you can buy without worrying about spending too much money.
Steam Sales, or for that matter any games' sales are very testing times for gamers over selecting games. Personally, I always select a balance of genres I am familiar with and genres where I'll be treading unknown ground, but the biggest hurdle for me and many other gamers is selecting games on a certain budget. I believe that INR 1000 is the ISB for an average gamer, so here is a list of games you can get within 1K INR with some variety thrown in and one game not taking up half your budget.
Hm I know Had talked with someone else about the scores going about for E.Y.E still kind of saddens me. Though by no means do I think it's a superb great game, but I don't think it's all that bad. Though the AI does piss me off at times with their great eyesight.
Oh well I still need to finish this game after Mirror's Edge and Space Marine
Had a lot of fun with this game, Put about 30 hours into it spanning between singleplayer and co-op play, just leveling up skills and abilities before wanting to move on.
I got up to a level which felt VERY similar to Aliens...right down to the audio. For some reason it really got under my skin in a frightening sense. And I stopped playing only minutes into that level lol.
