Everyone’s on a retro buzz lately and there are a plethora of games that are getting remade in HD so that a the new generation of gamers can experience them. And so the ones who played them originally can relive the memories and discover new things.

Those are all legit additions though. Def Jam FFNY was fun as hell.

The one I have always wanted was a remake of Oddworld Abe's Oddysee in HD and Lorne Lanning confirmed this already. It's staying 2.5D but with a fresh engine and it'll have more vibrant life in the background like how Trine and Shadow Complex look. I am so excited.

I don't like games being made into HD. Because I like playing them in their original form and how they showed gameplay over graphics.

If they re-release a game I love I would buy it no matter what.

The success of the Halo CE Anniversary addition (It'll sell)will catch the eye's of other companies. They'll assess their own IP's and likely we'll see remakes of old favorites.

Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger both need HD remakes. Although, I have to say, I don't trust SE at all anymore; so it'd be nice if they would hand it over to a competent development company.

What alot of these article authors don't realize is that Halo HD is an actual remake with new models and textures. The MGS/GoW/SoC HD remakes are just up-resolutioned with some anti-aliasing. I hate the word remake on these types of games. Resident Evil PS1 to Resident Evil GC is an actual remake.

I would like to see Halo 2 multiplayer come back, that was THE best online experience. No other can compare to all the fun I had on that game.

Where does Microsoft get off charging $40 for only one remade game? They should've remade Halo 2 on the same disc. They just want to charge you another $40 next year.

All the other HD collections have at least 2 games for $40. The HD remakes that only have 1 game are all $10-20 and digital only i.e. Beyond Good and Evil HD, Resident Evil HD and the Oddworld HD games. MS knows Halo fanboys will buy it even if they overcharge for it.
