I don't understand it when people say that the PC version will be better, at least graphically. PC's don't have a universal setting, they're all dynamic some worse then others. And it's possible that some of the worst performing PC's will fail to the consoles in graphical fidelity.

You know when I really think about it there is no problem vs the graphics against a TPS and FPS but the real problem is why would you vs an aplha or beta gameplay against each other? I mean neither game is complete to say "this" looks better than "that". If you do say that then the correct way to say this phrase would be "Wow this beta footage looks better than that beta footage." But I would rest to say any game look better than the other since at this point IT DOESNT MATTER. Both games are gonna look better at release so why even compare them now?

UC3 does look better than BF3 on consoles...No argument there...
YET UC3 also is linear and lacks destruction, smaller environments, does not have the sheer amount of vehicles and most of the effects and lighting and soft shadow effects are pre baked and pre calculated unlike BF3.
IMO this is comparing apples to oranges.

Pretty terrible logic. Uncharted is and exclusive while BF3 is multi-platform. All Exclusive titles look better than if it were to be mult-plat.

P.S I hate people that reload even tho their mag is full, if dice wants realism they should make it so if you reload with a half full mag then you lose all the cartridges in the mag, it would make alot of sense

This is suppose to be "pre alpha" footage. So I expect thing to look a lot better. Look at the improvement from the ps3 alpha of bc2 to the final product. Much better lookin.

I have to agree with you on the graphics.I know it's pre alpha build but my god the graphics where horrible.Even if its low res video footage it still doesn't make up for how bad it is.Regardless of the graphics in this footage the game will still be a lot of fun and I'm very much looking forward to this game once release time comes near.
As to your reloading even if the clip is some what full shouldn't mean anything.I'm always reloading right away just in case I'm walking into unexpected foes.It's just more of a smart idea and strategic way to play the game.

Can see in the second video that the 'B' Button on the Xbox360 controller is used to open the gate. It's about time this version surfaced.

It's just a shame that the consoles can't hold up to the incredibly impressive PC version.

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to be getting the console version (PS3), and it did look nice. It's just that all the hype surrounding the visuals was created by the early showings of the PC version.

As long as the game plays the same, or similarly, it'll be fantastic. I'm still playing the hell out of Bad Company 2.

The point I was making was in reference to another member who posted UC3 looks better than BF3.
It was not I who compared the two titles. I was simply responding to post.
Regardless...if you look at both games running on consoles you can see right off which game is rendering more advanced effects in real time than the other.
This is why UC3 can look better.
It lacks many of the dynamic game engine effects BF3 has...even on consoles. That was my point.
I did not come out and compare to twio. I was responding.

You miss the critical point...MAG does not have destruction or a dynamic game engine.
It posses visuals on par or less than COD...this is why they can have 256 players.
You actually think if MAG had graphics like BF3 and had almost full destruction and real time lighting dynamic soft shadows and GI that it could run 32 players with those large maps and all those vehicles?
The answer is no...and you know why? Because other than BF3, there is no game out on consoles that is doing it at 32+ players with that game engine or an engine similar to it with destruction and use of real time lighting and effects for the most part.
Most other FPS games on both consoles use pre calculated effects, LDR/NO32,MLAA, FXAA and other work arounds to save resources. BF3 for consoles uses quite a bit of real time effects.
With those effects you will NOT get 32 players with vehicles and destruction on one map.
Look at MAG and then compare whats going on behind the scenes.
It's not even close to what BF3 is rendering at any given time.

Everyone seems to be focusing on the graphics. Games are more than graphics. From what I saw in those vids, the gameplay looked rather bland and boring. Nothing got my adrenalin going in the slightest, very repetitive, very linear.

I know the game is primarily for the MP but come on, if you honestly think this is great innovative gameplay for a SP experience, you're drinking the kool-aid a little too much.

I'm hoping this is just a few minutes of the most boring parts of the SP because if the whole SP game is like this, I played this game years ago and it doesn't grab my attention anymore.

p.s. Not a COD fanboy. I'm not buying MW2.5

Well it's not a big deal if the console version is less then 64 players in multi player but maps could be bigger on the console versions but for arguments sake they could of had a 32 player count in the console version's multi player without any performance hits.Look at mag it has 256 players in online multi player with 8 player squads & i know it's graphics are in the range of call of duty but keep an open mind here & examine it from the other points of view then you'll see what im getting at in relation to battlefield 3 on console.
