Without scare, engaging story, logical delivery of events or characters, and a melee weapon system that causes more aggression towards its degradation mechanics than tension while in the game, Dead Island only amounts to hours-worth of doing the same repetitive action: killing zombies. It can be fun for a bit, and the outdoor environments look gorgeous (the recycled human models, not so much), but Dead Island doesn't offer much else.
We might be in the age of remasters, but it doesn't look like the Dead Island 2 devs believe remaking the original game is the right move for the series.
but remakes require far less effort for these companies and they can still charge $70 for them!
Feel like everyone makes fun of Skyrim re-releasing like 18 times yet applaud these remasters elsewhere. Would much prefer NEW games
Making sequels really is the way to go. Otherwise we'll be stuck playing only the first entry, forever!!!

It’s the music. It’s perfect. I agree with this for sure, it is well choreographed….unfortunately the game didn’t live up to the trailer.
Have you ever seen any of the MGS 3 or MGS 4 trailers? Those blow this out of the water for me.
Kevin F. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Many of the best Xbox 360 games are playable on the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Some even with some enhanced visuals and performance. Unfortunately, not every game from the Xbox 360 library has received this glorious feat of being able to be played on more modern Microsoft consoles."
The Spider-man games will never happen. The xbox 360 Marvel Ultimate Alliance games have a better chance of happening than Spider-man titles but won't happen. The Xbox One Ultimate Alliance games delisted years ago
Yeah... you can totally forget about those entries that got delisted because of licensing issues. Those are not happening.
The game freaking ROX! 8.5/10
Finally a score I agree with. This game is a buggy mess, at least on PS3, and the patch has incredibly made it even worse. I love the premise and, when the bugs and visual problems aren't ruining the experience, the zombie killing is visceral and fun. They should have let us customize our own characters and level them up however we want to, Elder Scrolls style. This is a huge letdown for a zombie lover like myself. It could have been great.
Game is original and fun, while its on the border of too easy at first once u progress it becomed brutal (while no where near the same as demon soul) but it adds a certain feeling of motivation to kill the zombie who kills you. I had my doubts for a first person melee type game, I had a impulse to preorder at the last second and am I glad I did its been consuming my late nights since. I am eagerly awaiting news of a sequel from deep silver. Happy to see them redeem themselves after call of juarez I was dissapointed
