Only if Sledgehammer Games is smart enough to lock the Famas on 3-shot burst fire like Infinity Ward did.

MAybe its just me, but I dont see one new thing that would warrant anyone to buy this. If you were to hide that it was MW3, I would think it was a new map for MW2. It's a joke how much they can re-hash the same game yet people will just keep buying and buying. The profit to effort margin is probably the most extreme out of any company or franchise. Input effort=0...profit=millions...a nd we make them look like geniuses.

I would have no problem with this game if it looked like they really overhauled the engine. But thats impossible when you have a game release every year. They'll see when battlefield takes over because maybe one day COD humpers will realize how IW stole every penny from them. And now with this COD ELITE shit. COD has done nothing for the gaming industry but hurt it. They are making people think it is acceptable to spend over 100$ for a re-hashed pos game. It seems like GOW has already taken an idea to this. Pre-paying for DLC. Because instead of putting it in the game they just decided to rip you off and make you think you are getting a good deal by getting 33% off by pre-ordering. How about, put that shit in the game to begin with and Ill save my money.

Much like this COD ELITE bullshit. People will say o you dont have to get it.. Yeah but its the fact they are removing things from the game that should be added, (which might actually warrant a purchase of a COD game for once) out of the game.. So basically they are saying, " if you want new features, you have to pay 50$ a year. IF not, youll get the same cod with some new maps." Utter bs. Robert Bowling and his nasal congestion are probably laughing at all the "COD Cult" followers while he buys a new Mercedes with their money. I just wish people could see that this isnt okay.

I enjoyed the rant, it was epic. Have a Bubble :D

With the kind of money Bowling is making he'd probably buy two Veyron's

I bet they needed a chair for OpTic Predator

They call this a tournament

The commentators are right behind them, pretty much saying where everyone is.
You could here the clans sometimes over the commentators mics.
Your sitting side by side, plus there is a huge screen.
The commentators missed some of the caps only relising afterwards.
Also Activision could only do $400,000 with sponsors.

Valve did a way better job with Dota 2, commentators that knew what they was talking about, did not miss a beat.
The competitors could not hear or see anything but their own screen.
Finally the top prize was $1,000,000 with out sponsors.

Both tournaments was the first E-sport by each company.

the reason why its so different
is valve cares. activision not so much. they just used this as a marketing stunt.

Call Of Duty XP Championship Is The Most Viewed COD Match In History

Activision has revealed that their recent Call of Duty XP Championship was the most watched Call of Duty event in history.

Alexious2780d ago

As expected. I'm not really fond of these things, though. I prefer to just play!

Garethvk2780d ago

Same. If I played a game 12+ hours a day every day I would rock as well. our them on a new map they have not played before and see how normal they play.

Tussin1872779d ago

Wow, according to this site COD is dead. Seems like a lot of people still have interest in the franchise. Haven't bought one since GHOST but I'm really felling the itch this year with MW.

Garethvk2779d ago

It is the best selling game in the world every year by far so someone is buying it.
