There seems to be a rising trend within the gaming community to insult and shun gamers who may be new to a particular game or genre, whether it's a new release or an older title.
Here is a look at the first two maps of Season 6 for Multiplayer.
La Casa involves intense action in a Vill and Koro Village is a battle in the streets where enemies lurk at all angles and shadows.
GF365: "Oftentimes, video games have characters who are antagonistic and really not very pleasant. Here are some of the friendliest characters in games where you might not otherwise expect to find them."
Modern Warfare 3 is set to be one of the biggest COD games yet features-wise, but it shouldn't leave out one of the best MW2 game modes in the rear view mirror.
This is not a victimless crime. Sadly I am usually the victim. :(
I'm a bit glad that PS3 won't be getting Cross Game Chat feature since not all people actually use it for team base and strategy. Just if someone calls you a "NOOB" or "NewB" you'll just hear them cut off or static. But am also a bit sad that we are getting it, but PSVita will, so I'm looking forward to it. Nice article.
I just got down yelling at a bunch of noobs on MAG. These knuckleheads were trying to attack without revive kits and they wouldn't try and take down bunkers.
Newb/noob is such a harsh word to call someone. I just call them idiots instead. If they're new to a particular genre, then they might not know what noob/newb is, and calling them an idiot works out better since they'll understand it pretty well >:)
Wtf? Noobs have always gotten hate. Either step up your game or gtfo, haters are right.
In fact, if anything, nowadays it's the noobs who refuse to improve their game. Everyone's a noob at first when they play a new game. Some people have more gaming experience in general so they'll overcome the learning curve quicker than others, but everyone goes through it. But now noobs often refuse to improve their game. Rather than learn from veterans, listen to them or emulate, they'll just go to the dev's site forum and cry like babies until the game gets patched to their liking. See MAG.
