YouTube’s ‘club4ghz’ has released two videos, showcasing the performance difference between CRYENGINE V and CRYENGINE 3, as well as the performance difference between CRYENGINE V’s DX11 and DX12 modes.
CE5 has a higher framerate but CE3 looks better at times...
I guess this is because CE5 is just supposed to be a Cryengine for VR and not much more
This really is a fantastic engine if you look through some of the development videos for it. I just hope crytek's future games pack more of a punch than crysis 2 did.
Hope to see some great PC indie games like we've seen with UDK, great business model for these engines.
We should judge a developer not by their engines but the output of those engines .... cryengine 3 no matter wht it is ... failed to shine thru crysis 2 ......
I say again 4A developers dont get the respect they deserve ... they kinda did evrythin cryengine3 does but earlier ....
So we can actually create games based on the engine now?
