This is exactly what I used to do in Spec Ops mode of MW2. So it means that we are gettin Spec Ops mode (whics Co-Op mode) in BF3 ... hmmmmm.

What's so special about this, it looks fine but nothing like "amazing" from this vid, the other trailer on pc with jets looks absolutely stunning, this looks very ordinary by comparison.

at around 5:10 you get a close up of a pretty low rez texture, It is still alpha at the moment but I would hope to see better textures on PS3 by the end product. Having said that this game is using a lot of features that use a large amount of resources, So it is not entirely unexpected to have to make cutbacks in other areas.

For those of us that have been playing co-op games on the 360 (Rainbow 6:Vegas 2, Ghost Recon:AW2, Halo, Gears) know this is some BS!

Sorry, but anyone expecting the PS3 to be capable of rendering this engine twice on one screen are in dream land. Even a decent rig PC would struggle.

It may be just me but there seems to be nothing special about this mode. It is a nice added feature but there is nothing new.

One thing they do need to fix is the voice work. The generic load shouting doesn't really go with the scenario at the beginning.

Yea, but co-op seems to be an added bonus rather than the meaty part of the game.

The gameplay isn't special (why do we have to shoot the two guys at the same time when you have a shotgun?) but the animation system is quite cool, especially for an FPS.

Good idea and you control one fire team and the other controls the other fireteam. Like one is a Section commander and the other is the 2IC. That would be taking a tactical shooter to a whole new level

I mentioned yesterday on a different thread that if they are not gonna make anymore Bad Company games that they should bring Bad Company on board BF as a separate co-op campaign.... as most people found the characters amusing so they would be a nice option to be able to play as well as the normal single player and multiplayer!

Looks good but its kinda hard to see too much being that it's a night mission and the not so great vid. And it's obvious that it's not going to looks as good as the PC version but for the consoles it's fine. It would be nice if people would stop comparing the two. YES, the PC version will be the best but for the MILLIONS of people who don't game on PC, this looks great. It would be nice if we as gamers could stop at that but someone always has to state the obvious. Which, by the way, doesn't require a high school diploma..I for one will enjoy this game on my console without any regrets and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Yeah Battlefield have always been my favorite military game series, and I hope DICE makes a Bad Company 3 because it would be a real shame if they didn't, and it's too bad that the two Bad Company games were spinoffs instead of the main games, but BF3 looks so real, and I've already pre-ordered it. I hope it takes CoD MW3 down! Righteous! And I'm sure the Xbox version will look the same as the ps3's or I at least hope it does. The Battlefield, and Medal of Honor series rocks! This is one of the reasons why EA is my favorite game company alongside M$! When I said Battlefield 3 looks so real I was refering to the faultline video for this game that I downloaded on my 360.

ps3 gameplay and its amazing... finally people can shut up about how bad its gonna look compared to the infamous PC even while running at 30 fps. And like I always say... if the PC is so much more better then consoles where are those exclusives that show that massive power it has over them consoles... cause the only game I see that uses any power is Crysis 2 and thats a multiplatform title. Makes no sense to me. Anyway... BF3 looks sick on ps3 : )

It runs smooth, which is cool, but hopefully dice will give us a full HD PS3/XBox360 trailer so everyone can stop being in total suspense about what the console versions will actually look like. This video is so blurry you can't make out any of the actual detail.

There is nothing in that video that makes me go wow. It's dark, spotting was done on R6. & splinter cell years ago and it was just average. I've seen great stuff before with the daylight videos and trailers of B3, soi won't be judging it on this latest footage. But if this footage was the only footage I'd ever seen I'd be disappointed as it did nothing for me.
