They gave it an overall 5/5 but they gave all 3 aspect of Graphics, Control and Sound 4.75/5 in their review. Wasn't Mario Galaxy supposed to be the best looking Wii game as well as the most technically advanced?

Don't you get it by now? It isn't about having the best graphics or being the most technically advanced. Its about how much fun it is to play. If smg really is on the level with mario 64 and sm3 I may be tempted to pick up a wii myself this holiday (if I can find one that is).

Played it at Game Stop for about a minute and the game looks so ugly I gave the paddle to a 5yr standing next to me. He loved it. GO GAME PRO. Trust me this game look almost as good as Mario Sun Shine.

I don't get the 4.75 for graphics. It is probably the best you can do with the Wii hardware, it should've gotten a 5.

Good question and points. In it's based on what Wii can do, it should get 5/5 in that category and if it's based on what all 3 can do, it deserves 2/5 or something compared to PS3 and 360 games.

Excellent querry as far as reviews go. Should they, knowing that a game on the Wii can't match the 360/PS3, review comparably or by itself?

I don't really think it's fair to judge it comparing it to the other two in the graphics dept, since it'll be an automatic lose for the game. Super Mario Galaxy is the closest the Wii has come to matching the others. As much as I love the graphical prowess of my PS3, it still does not ruin my experience or opinion of the Wii or it's games.

But to each his own.

If Gamepro gave Metroid's graphics a 4.5, and this a 4.75, maybe Brawl will finally give the Wii a 5.0. Hopefully.

I know what you mean. On nov. 20 w/uncharted and mass effect I may be tempted to use a few of those sick days from work i've got saved. This winter is the best holiday season for games that i can remember.
