Which is the best seventh generation gaming console?

"There are different gaming consoles from different brands which compete against each other.Playstation 3 is by Sony,Wii is by Nintendo and XBOX 360 is by Microsoft.They have certain competition but in my view Wii is the best Gaming console.

Wii:This video game console was developed by Nintendo and released on 19th November,2006.Wii has features slightly better than PlayStation 3 and xbox 360 like it has a wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detects movement in three dimensions.

It also has WiiConnect24, which enables it to receive messages and updates over the Internet while in standby mode.It is the most successful video game console compared to xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.Over 86 million units of wii has been sold worldwide. It also supports over hundreds of eyebrow raising games which makes it distinguishable gaming consoles than others.

Lol, no I haven't written this (just in case u were thinking :P). I don't even agree with it actually. In my opinion every console has its strengths and weaknesses, so it really depends on what u want to play. For example I'm a PC gamer but at heart I'm also a big Nintendo fan, so I own a Wii/PC and get the best of both worlds ;)

PS3 has quite a number of good exclusives and most of the multi-plat titles. It's also getting some HD remasterings & remakes of PSP games which are not exclusives to this gen, but are additional treats. So if you can't afford a gaming PC, don't have handhelds or you're just dying for some Gran Turismo, God of War or Metal Gear Solid, then PS3 is way to go.

Xbox 360. Well for starters it has the best online of the three. Most multi-platform games are superior on the 360 than PS3, and it also has a decent amount of exclusives like Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable, Alan Wake to name a few, though not as many as PS3. So its a decent alternative to PS3 if you're looking to pick up an HD console.

Wii. If you love Nintendo and its games, then this is the console for you. If you're a retro gamer (that doesn't use illegal methods), look no further. Wii has the best exclusives this generation in my opinion. Virtual console lets you download & play the classic games you loved in your childhood (assuming you're at least 25) from Nintendo, NEC, SNK and SEGA consoles and some great ones you've probably never played like Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Several games which I don't have anything to do with like Wii Fit and Just Dance also have a huge audience, and if you're part of that, please do yourself a favor and pick up a Wii if you haven't already.

So as u can see, Wii is my favorite console. The best? No, because there's no such thing. Everything is based on opinion.

And one more thing. Don't go for review scores, because the industry's journalism is very biased. For example, games from the fighting genre can never get GotY awards or even be nominated for them. 2D platformers get low review scores even though they're sometimes more fun than the highest reviewed game of this generation. Handheld titles are never nominated for GotY awards, even when they're better than console nominees. People give 10's left and right, and now perfect scores have lost their meaning. GTAIV is one of the highest rated games of this generation, but it hardly comes up on the top 10 lists anymore. So just buy what u want, don't care about what other's will think.

for me its, ps3 then closely followed by three sixty. don't own a wii so can't say.

the best is the one you like the most. i am interested in buying a wii if anything for the virtual console.

Very hard to say which is the "best" overall. I think it varies based on what the individual is looking for in a console.

For me, I'm not big into online gaming other than downloading new levels and games. Also not that big into FPS. PS3 and PSN gives me that and a good variety of games to play in addition to the usual third-party titles. I still have a 360 for those other exclusives, but that's about it.

If I were big into online gaming like many others, my 360 would likely be my primary and PS3 secondary.

I'm currently of the mind that none of them are. That the HD console generation needed to be thought out more than it was. Instead it was just rushed into and fixed later, much like everything things the leader of the charge often does.

PS3 is the best console that has ever existed over all gens. Although the PS2 was the best if you are comparing about how good they were for the gen they were in.
