And thats even with psn ofc any fighting game would sell better on ps3 with the state of the 360,s dpad its horribe, and LA noire is a niche title which again is perfectly normal to sell more to the more diverse userbase of ps3.

i thought ms "fixed" there Dpad, so its still horrible? I guess its the position of it?

No, it's not the position. That new D-Pad is still one big, bare, button.

It's better from what I hear, but doesn't look better than the PS3 dpad. Raising it I assume isn't too comfortable for fighters since you'd probably have trouble sliding around.

I sort of get what MS was trying to do with the original pad. It fits very nicely and your supposed to rest your thumb and just lean it around, but it's just inaccurate (can't navigate the UI properly for example)

Sony's is nice because they are sectioned off yet act as one pad and it sits flatly on the controller. They hurt though when playing fighters but it's better than the 360 one. Luckily for me, I don't like fighting games.

Thought the "improved" D-pad was only a limited deal?

MASTER_RAIDEN4680d ago

that fucking dpad is still the same shit in a different shape. it looks like it would work, but it REALLY doesnt. imagine if for example MS released a controller with a dpad that had a "star shape" or something like that..it would essentially still be the same feeling dpad, only its carved differently.

that controller is easily my most regretful waste of money this gen. and also, the dpad will randomly fall off. google it.

both those games have Ps3 exclusive content

Bathyj4682d ago

So what are you saying?

Both of those games are better on Ps3 and if you had both consoles of course you'd get that version?

Hmm. i agree. well said.

Kurylo3d4674d ago (Edited 4674d ago )

of course the ps3 version had kratos... id normally just buy the game on a 360, but the fact of the matter is the ps3 has the free online, and it has kratos, with his level that has 3 stage fatalities in it. Kind of a no brainer since graphics wasnt a determining factor between either version.

Quagmire4682d ago

Fighter are better played on PS3
Kratos on PS3
L A Noire has exlcusive/timed DLC (i think)

and generally the PS3 userbase is more inclined to buy less "shooty" games, and opt for the more immersive and narrative based gameplay aka Heavy Rain, which is why LANoire fits right at home (an wasnt it announced as PS3 Exclusive at first?)

L.A. Noire And Bully — Rockstar's Lost Gems That Deserve A Sequel As Much As GTA

Hanzala from eXputer: "I do appreciate GTA 6, Rockstar, but if I could trade it for a new L.A. Noire or a Bully game, I'd do so in a heartbeat."

Skuletor12d ago

How are they lost? You can get L.A. Noire on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch and Bully is on the PS5 and Xbox Series too.

Psychonaut8512d ago

I want a new Manhunt game. But that will never happen.

Demetrius12d ago

Mfs are too sensitive nowadays and would cry instead of being concerned bout real world problems

Demetrius12d ago

Whenever gta 6 launch we won't be getting another rockstar title for another 10 years lol but on the positive side they bou to come back n show how open world supposed to be done 🔥

Skuletor12d ago

I won't expect any singleplayer DLC like IV's The Lost & Damned or The Ballad of Gay Tony after it launches either
